    Great TV but the Samsung JS 8000 was better. The Samsung only costed one hundred dollars more. It was way worth it.

    This is my 1st 4k TV. Was expecting better. Picture is nice, but the blacks are terrible. There is light coming in from all 4 corners of the TV. It looks horrible watching a movie in a dark room. I would recommend getting a different TV. Would've returned if I could've found someone with a large vehicle.

    We are very happy with our new TV. The picture quality is everything we expected. The store personnel were very helpful in selecting a set that met our TV viewing needs and provide the extra knowledge on what we needed to set up the TV so we would get the most out our purchase. A quality Sound bar was a good addition.

    This TV had poor blacks and a very bad viewing angle. I took it back and got an LG OLED and it is awesome.

    I WILL NEVER BUY A SONY TV AGAIN

    I purchased a BRAND NEW Sony TV based on the recommendation of the sales person. I have previously had success with Samsung TVs that I own. However, I was purchasing a smart TV with 4K technology and trusted that the person knew what they were selling me. Well, the TV WORKED FOR ONE WEEK ONLY. When I called Best Buy to say something was wrong with the TV, the person I spoke to said there was something wrong with the AT&T wireless connection I had DESPITE the fact that my streaming was fine on my computer. Long story short, when I finally reached SONY, they told me that they needed to send a technician with a part to fix the TV. AGAIN, THIS IS A BRAND NEW TV THAT WAS ABOUT 30 DAYS OLD. Well, the TV is mounted on the wall because a friend was in town who helped. Sony will NOT service the TV until I take it off the wall. Well, that is a TWO person job and there is ONE person living at my place ME. Needless to say, the customer service by BOTH Best Buy and Sony is AWFUL, and my TV STILL HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED.

    What happened to Sony TVs?

    It is such a shame to see what has happened to Sony TVs. I've owned them for 20+ years and never had an issue or even a feature I didn't like. Their quality was always number 1, in my opinion. Now to this TV. To sum up, this is the single most disappointing purchase I have ever made in my life. It freezes up constantly, it changes inputs and reboots and turns off on its own, and even the basic menu functions do not work or respond most of the time. Bought it in June 2016. It started giving us trouble within a day or two. We thought we'd wait for an update to see if it worked the kinks out but it has actually become worse. Its literally a piece of junk. Sony has not been able to help us with it at all which is one of the most disappointing aspects of this. We are considering taking this to an e-recycle center and just eating the money just rid ourselves of the disappointment. $1299 down the drain. Such a shame. Sony, what happened?

    The picture was OK but not as good as my new Samsung 4k. Android "Smart" system was dumb. Very complicated and attempted to force you to use Google for everything. Could not get Hulu to work consistently using the Android system.
