Takes a few minutes to set up. But for the price range the tv has good color. I bought a sound bar at the same time so my sound is amazing but without it. The sound just fair.

Had it installed by Best Buy. Too big to handle by myself. It worked great for several days, then died. Called geek squad and they ordered a new main board. It did not come in two business days. Called geek squad again. They said order was canceled. Ordered it again. It came last Wednesday. Geek squad came out to install it. Three hours later tv did not work and they reinstalled original board. It worked and has worked since then. Not only that but you are selling this tv for two hundred dollars less than I paid. How do you think I feel? We have had this tv for three weeks, only been in service for a week and a half. Not recommended!

Beautiful picture, flimsy base (dangerous for a stand) mediocre sound (requires a good external sound system to be acceptable. Works best to set up with HDMI cable connections.

This tv has a great picture. The sound is decent . Loved that it had 4 HDMI ports.

For a 4k television this one is awesome for the price.

Being a Samsung fan, I went to get a Samsung. The Best Buy assistant told me about this Sony and the Display/Motion technology in it. Thought about it-then got it. I Could not be happier. This was the same price as the equivalent 4K UHD Sammy. It was on sale. I am so happy with this one. Brilliant displays, Old movies Look new. Non BluRay DVDs display better than ever- look super. Like I was on set during production. HD TV, Streaming apps, everything looks great. I'm just telling ya.

Sony makes a fabulous TV. The 4K picture quality is stunningly superb. I sometimes am mesmerized by the imagery and forget about story content. Truly, one can get lost in the visuals. But Sony has some explaining to do about access to peripherals. Access to the internet search functions were limited to Android devices, until just a few days ago when Google released it iPhone Android TV app. Not that big a deal in the overall scheme of things because I primarily watch via my cable company offerings. However, Sony dissed the use of audio peripherals with connections using RCA jacks. There are none. So, my wireless Rocketfish headset was rendered useless as was my Insignia soundbar. That resulted in one more trip to Best Buy and the solution – another $25 in cables (a mini-plug for the headset and optical cable for the soundbar). Fair enough, but who knew that the mini-plug connection muted the TV audio? My previous TV didn't work that way. When listening to Brits, I like the extra clarity from my headset, while my wife listens to the TV sound. That required more scrambling figuring how to null the TV sound and using the soundbar exclusively. Sony, don’t forget there are older technologies out there. My two-year old Toshiba accommodated those peripherals. Why can’t you? BTW – my Best Buy guys are great. Thanks for walking me through all this during my FOUR trips back to the store. All in all, it’s a great TV and If not for these hassles, it’s clearly 5-star. But I give it a 4.

I bought one of those Black Friday gimmick tbsp from Walmart and thought I was getting a good deal, boy was I wrong! It had a horrible refresh rate and wasn't a deal at all after I started looking into pricing and what to look for in a new tv, so I returned it, did my homework and found this tv to be the best bang for my buck at that given time, with specials and sales it changes daily, make sure you get a Wolf namebrand with a high refresh rate higher the better that's what I like good luck

Nothing fancy, just a great picture, easy set up with my Directv. Spiced up the color intensity a touch using the menu.

Love the clear detailed and realistic picture this tv offers. The sound is a little weak but will get a soundbar anyway.

If you are in the market for a 4k tv, this is one you definitely need to look at. For me, I needed a tv with a higher native refresh rate. At 55 inches, I was surprised at how many tvs on the market only had a true 60 hz refresh rate (don't be fooled by true motion 120, etc). This tv has a native 120 hz refresh rate and it is very noticeable (especially at 55 inches). If you watch a lot of sports or are an avid gamer, make sure you get a native 120 hz refresh rate tv or you will be disappointed. This tv is also DirecTv ready which works awesome! You can add this tv as a client with a DECA (or plug it in directly to your Ethernet connection) and DirecTv won't force you to extend your contract to do it. I would recommend the DECA because even with internet speeds of 100Mbps down and 10 Mbps up, plus the Netgear Nighthawk AC-1900 router I still had slight lag issues that were most noticeable when watching something off of the DVR. Regardless of speed, I think the DECA delivers the best consistent performance with minimal lag. Other tv apps work great and are very fast. Very glad I bought this tv!

Very happy with this TV. It has great clarity and many features (Netflix, Pandora, etc). Well worth the price we paid!

I was after a Samsung tv and the salesman turned me onto the Sony I am glad that I listened it has an amazing picture
