Awesome TV

Thought it would be hard to improve on the LG but this Sony is really awesome. Great picture with good sound. Bought it on sale which only improved the purchase. First "smart tv I've purchased and I get some use of that although I have my Apple TV attached.

A nice 4k tv for the price- get upgraded speakers

It's installed high over our mantle and there are no viewing angle issues from below or the sides. We paired with an upconvert 4k dvd player and the pictures are fantastic. On verizon fios HD channels, picture is great. Much better than our 1080p samsung (four years old) that's relegated to the basement now. The picture is actually decent on some non-hd channels while the samsung was always a mess with non-hd channels. The one major drawback is the sound. The factory speakers are bad. Tin can sound bad on sports sometimes. I recently purchased (and planned to anyways) a sony soundbar with a remote sub and expect that to solve the sound issues of course...for the price this TV is a good value...I feel I got a great value as I scored an open box display unit for a fantastic deal.
