I did quite a bit of research before I purchased this TV. I've had it for several months now and I'm very happy with it. 55 inches was sufficient for me and the image is very clear and sharp.

Took a good deal of time searching the best TV for my needs and this Sony fulfilled all of my requirements and more. The only negative, as with other reviews, the sound was not the best, but a sony soundbase more than made up for that concern. Looking forward to many years of viewing with this Sony 4K.

Input lag for gaming is good, shooters play well on this TV. The 4k does bring out imperfections in the graphics for console games but games still look good

I haven't really even had a chance to utilize the full capabilities of this 4k TV, but the early reviews are in, and I'm very happy with it. Was easily able to hook up to all of the apps, and got my Netflix streaming in 4k, so it's good there. My PS4 looks great, and there's been no issues so far.

I love my smart tv! It eliminates the need for cable or satellite. It has all the apps we need

The latest sony updates add hdr to the tv making this a great buy even in 2016. The smart tv has a plethora of apps that can be installed so there's always something to watch. Utilizing the picture settings will actual make the video one of the clearest and color fullest I've ever experienced

This is a fantastic monitor, it has brilliant picture quality, great 21st Century technology and is well worth the money for the size. My only criticism is that the sound is average, the use of a sound bar is a must in my opinion.

Bought the new Sony to upgrade my last one. Great T.V. only thing I wasn't 100 percent happy with is the sound. My last Bravia had better sound quality.

There seemed to be a great deal of confusion regarding whether or not this model was updated to support HDR 10 and I was under the impression that it did receive such an update when I decided to purchase the TV. I have been loyal to the Sony Brand for the last 5 years and have never been disappointed with any of their televisions. Though this model doesn't have the greatest sound quality and DOES NOT support HDR 10, it supports all other video output capabilities supported by the Xbox One S, the main reason I decided to purchase a 4K TV. Being able to play the game's sound through my controller also renders the poor sound quality meaningless so it is a non-issue for me. At 55" you can't find a much better price than the $705 I paid for this Sony, and despite lacking some of the more extensive features included with other Sony 4K TVs, I am very pleased with this purchase. This TV is a great option for buyers looking for an affordable screen of at least 55" while those looking for the most up to date 4K TV features may be better served looking elsewhere for an HDR compatible set. Personally, I would recommend waiting a year or two more to purchase a set that is HDR compatible as there is very little HDR content available. If opting not to spend the extra money for HDR compatibility, this set is an excellent option.

So far no complaints. Looking forward to getting a 4k Ultra HD DVD Player. Would recommend this product.

We got this tv for about $750 and the picture is good but I have 2 relatively minor issues - 1) the built in speakers seem worse than our old Samsung, and 2) the tv on it's stand doesn't sit high enough to allow for a sound bar to be place in front of it without it blocking some of the screen. Seems like a pretty bad design flaw for those who want/need to use a soundbar.

I love this tv, but it regularly turns it self on after being turned off and does an Android update. It seems to have a mind of its own.

This is my first 4k TV and I love it. The picture is great and the sound is good for built in speakers.
