The picture is excellent. The additional functions on this television are great. Owners manual is easy to read and understand.

I was looking for a new TV for my office around the 55" size. I settled on this Sony as the main things I would be watching would be movies & TV. It has an excellent scaler which will take lower quality DVD's and any 480p/720p signal and make it look like a very good Blu-ray/1080p image. It does scale all images to 4K and Blu-ray movies look fantastic. Many TV's produce flutter in the image when scaling lower quality sources but not this Sony! I'm not into gaming so I didn't try it with games. The contrast and image quality are excellent from all sources. I highly recommend this TV for people that love movies!

I have loved this tv from opening the box. It needed very little adjustments to have a great picture in a very bright room. The speakers are pretty good for a tv as well.

Screen is sharp and colors are vivid. Love the smart tv options.

I have always owned Sony TVs and they do not disappoint. My friend owns the Samsung, and in my opinion is not as clear picture of this— both are 4k

The picture is very good, with some tweaking, which is challenging as there are so many settings. It's hard to know what to do. I'm still not sure we made the right decision to get a 4k tv--not sure it was worth the price.

We installed this TV in our 1st floor family room, and is used for basic viewing (news, movies, etc). The picture quality is very good for this price point. The smart features are well implemented, it is pretty easy to navigate to devices/apps via the home screen. Wall mounting was very easy (Sanus hardware). Overall, this TV represents a good value. I have one negative comment: The setup process was not the best. There is a lack of documentation provided with this TV model, and even less available online. There is very little web presence of it anywhere, particularly on Sony's site. One of the first tasks during setup is network access. With the provided remote (not touch remote, as indicated on website), it is seemingly impossible to enter the required password for WiFi network, as it does not include alpha or special characters. Maybe there are some dual function buttons, but I could not find them and as noted earlier, the documentation is sub-par. I had to hardwire the TV to my router, which had I known prior to setup, I could have routed a network cable behind the wall. Now there is an unsightly cable between my TV and router, albeit temporary. Additionally, my HDMI devices were not detected. Once connected to the internet, a significant software update was downloaded, after which everything seemed to work just fine. I would recommend hooking your TV up to key components first to make sure everything is up to date and hooked up to internet prior to final mounting/cable routing. In hindsight, that is what I should have done. I spent a lot of time on the negative, because it was a frustrating setup. However, now that everything is up and running, we really like this TV and think it is a good bang for the buck.

Very pleased with this television. Picture quality s awesome and watching hockey is phenomenal. Would highly recommend and I have yet to enjoy the 4K part of the tv.

Easy setup just by default HDMI setup to normal it has to set to enhanced feature. Once it setup to enhance the picture is amazing. Very happy with the purchase

Solid buy. Was planning on spending only $500-$600 on a 4K, but this is deff worth the extra few hundred. Unless you're wanting to spend more money ($200-500).

This is a good 4K television for under $1000. The colors and blacks are acceptable, but doesn't compare to a IPS panel. It integrates well with my PS4 and Sony AV receiver. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

My first Sony tv and won’t be the last. Easy to navigate and ability to download apps from google right on tv. The picture quality is beautiful!

Just love this TV. Sharp picture and colors are true to life. Picture comes on quickly- easy access to Netflix and no sound bar needed on a room over 16 x 20.

Great tv good picture great price will recommend to buyers

This tv was on sale. I love the features but it's run of the mill that every tv has. The picture quality is great but need a sound system to go with it. The speakers that come built in the tv do not do it justice.

I do like alot of the features. Wish it had more 4k apps.

Love this TV. It is huge and so clear. The sound quality is amazing and the 4k Ultra features are outstanding. Haven't found anything wrong with the TV.
