I really like my new TV. The only issue I have is that the remote is not fully functional.

Good quality products however it appears to have some software issues it randomly turns off and it loses sound from time to time you have to unplug it and replug it for it to work

Purchased this unit off of the wall. When I got it home I noticed the screen had an image of the Dolby Logo burned into the lower right corner. Returned to store for a refund. Picture was great but I did not want to deal with the burn in issue.

I thought the Sony smart tv would of had a noticably clearer picture.

Great TV - I had to reschedule the installation until after XMAS.

Alright guys I went through a few TVs in the past 2 months searching for the best. I got the q90r, c9, the Sony x950 and the Sony a9g. I tired the x950g just because of price and nothing was hitting the mark of what I wanted and what I saw in my mind. I will say the x950g had great processing of course with the x1 ultimate but the black levels just weren't good enough for me with the blooming also. So I have to say I finally got the Sony a9g last and man oh man is it the best. I have never seen image quality like this even with the x950g havingnthe same processor it wasn't on this level. The color on this oled is unlike any other it can actually produce the bright end unlike most oled TVs. Its accurate when needed not as accurate as I thought it would be out of the box. But guys the detail in this image and the depth. The depth is the perfect word no other TV can produce this image. Even if processing is good on others. The contrast is the best even tho the lg is oled and gets perfect blacks the contrast from the processing still isnt on sonys level. It was very close. The closest it's ever been going between the c9 and the Sony a9g was extremely hard because of the festures with the lg. But in the end it came down to the best image quality and that was sony. If your looking for the best of the best this is it. But the lg c9 is also an amazing choice. Because of the still amazing image quality but more features. I will say again ITS NEVER BEEN CLOSER IN IMAGE QUALITY. Sony needs to watch out lg is catching up. To the point where only true enthusiasts will see the difference now. I will also say the Samsung q90r was amazing image quality and clarity was almost as good but I kept getting pixelation even on gaming green pixels were all over the screen. They would shut off over time then come back on. Again Sony is the best out there lg is a very very close second. To the point where my mind still goes man you could have hdmi 2.1 and freesync and gync capabilitys over hdmi. Thank God the image quality is this good. I would tell you if I wasnt already used to Sony then I would of chose lg.

Initially, there were no real problems with this TV. It was extremely heavy, I thought this was a good sign but the picture was not mind blowing for the ridiculously high price. Now, after over a year, the picture is actually looking like a 20 yr old tv set! I am at the verge of tears! I truly thought this was a great choice. My other 4k Sony TV started out great & also seemed to lessen in picture quality after numerous updates. But that TV cost me half of this. I am out of my mind that I spent over $4000 total between 2 Sony TVs that were supposed to bring enjoyment to our family. We should have spent the money on a trip instead :'(
