Bravia Masters Series Is An Unbeatable Value
After 11 years with a Sony Bravia from Best Buy that never failed me once, provided superior picture quality, and which didn't even look dated... I decided to upgrade to this 2019 model. FYI - I donated the old Bravia to Goodwill and they were shocked at how new it looked. I'll start with the one caveat you should be aware of: It's missing the latest hdmi 2.1 compatibility which I was aware of when I purchased it. I honestly don't think it matters. This is one of the only 55 inch tvs with a 120hz refresh rate (240 motion rate) out there and the Sony X1 processor is blazing fast which I'm confident makes the picture quality incredible. It's designed to have accurate color to the specs of the entertainment industry that puts out content and it shows (that's why it is the Masters series). On black Friday I picked it up for around $1600 plus tax. It was a steal. Beyond the smooth refresh rate which really sets it apart and the obvious superiority of OLED especially with black contrast .. the sound will stun you.... There is a reason that the provided stand doesn't lift the tv screen more than a centimeter off the tv cabinet. It does not need a sound bar at all - which most folks place below the screen. The sound on this model, however, emits from the screen itself and it is stunning. I've also used the unique option of wiring the tv into a receiver so that the tv screen sound becomes the center speaker in a 3 speaker surround system. Incredible sound. Way better than a sound bar. The Android TV integration is flawless. Super fast and allows for google assistant voice commands. "Hey Google, turn off the tv". Simple command but SO useful. And this tv is thin. I mean super thin. So far im extremely satisfied with my purchase just like I was 11 years ago when I bought my last Bravia. Now, I may have stayed loyal to the brand but I did plenty of research on other brand models. LG is an obvious option to explore considering any OLED tv starts with LG parts, even Sony. But the fit and finish of LG feels cheaper to me Were I have waited to buy the newest tech this year, LG would be a stronger consideration due to the 2.1 hdmi tech. But Sony's X1 processor pretty much puts me at ease. It's fast and produces insane picture quality. I couldn't upload a pic of the new tv (I think the file size is too large). But attached a pic of my 11 year old 40 inch Bravia which still looked and worked great. From a value perspective, I'd rather have a top of the line OLED 4k 120 refresh rate Sony Bravia with top of line processing for under $2k than pay closer to 4-5k for nearly the same quality but 2.1 hdmi compatibility in 2021. There's a reason that this exact Sony model took Digital Trend's best TV honor of 2019.

Fantastic Electronic Device !!!
This Sony is expensive! Worth every dollar in picture, set-up SmartTV applications and all. Never had a SmartTV and this is the MACDADDY of them all. If you can't afford to buy outright then set up to make payments. First TV I have ever purchased that was worth all the hype and ratings in the magazines. Set up by BestBuy staff was on target and training was first rate. Tech took the time to make my current wall-mount work which saved me some bucks on my package and went through all the steps to help me get internet and email all set through the TV. Sound and picture are immaculate, crisp, sharp defining...... and any other adjective you can think of. This was the 40th Wedding Anniversary present my wife wanted; now how could I deny her that!!!

Stunning with new surprises daily!
An unbelievable tv. The sound is beyond phenomenal. I just learned today I could talk to it. I have Never seen a tv more clear. Easy to use, really seems like a sci fi experience. So far I could not recommend it more.

OLED Rules! Best
At this very time in the Tech World there are few Companies such as Samsung, LG, Vizio for example that are producing Fine LCD TV'S. However, The Best, finest, Sharpest Picture are the OLED sets I've seen in person. Choosing between LG & Sony, I purchased Sony. Since having a Sony set for many years just figured it's time to Step up. There is room to calibrate for the best picture per your room which I managed to get set. Am Extremely Happy Especially, when I play movies on Blu -Ray. Could have got a 65" set But 55" suited me & my budget just fine and set on bracket on my wall Perfectly! In closing, YouTube, Netflix, Look Excellent as well. With Surround Sound & 8 Speakers, Everything is Enhanced for a Wonderful Rockin Experience.

Sony A9G 55" wall mounted
I got this Sony master series A9G for a steal of a price. Having originally bought it online for Cyber Monday. It was on a 1 time 8 hour flash sale marked down from $2299.00 to $1299.00. Plus I also got an extra $750 off this TV bc my old TV was under a BB 5 year protection plan and starting in the 3rd year the small light lines started to appear across the whole bottom of the screen. It didn't bother me until i was in the 4th year when it started to spread. I had BB come out to assess the TV & they decided they weren't going to fix it and gave me a credit of $750 to put towards a new tv and ai wound up getting the Sony A9G for like $549 plus tax & plus another $149.99 for a BB Total Tech warranty that covers not only the TV but it also covers all my devices. So in the end i did really well and as a matter of fact none of the salesman at my local BB could evenbelueve how break i got that TV for. As for the picture quality it's an easy 5 out of 5. It comes with full Andis OS with Google assistant built in amongst a ton of other options. I have an Nvidia Shield that I use to run everything through so tbh i don't even use the android os that comes on the TV. All in all I'm very pleased with this purchase & would recommend this TV to anyone as you don't even need a sound bar as the sound on this TV is very crisp with plenty of bass, mids, & highs.
