I have researched and compared the OLED tv's for several months leading up to the holidays. I had it narrowed down to Sony and LG. There was a definite price advantage with the LG, but once I was able to see them side by side there was no true comparison in picture quality. Since I determined this would be my last family tv I spent the extra money for the Sony. During Christmas several people were amazed at the picture. Now, I'm still working through all it's features, and it has many. It will control your stereo but you'll need a late model tuner. I'll update as I go, but for now this is the best tv I've ever owned, and I have had many and still do (3 samsung 3D LED tvs).

Purchased the Sony - 55" Class A9G Master Series OLED 4K UHD Smart Android TV and I have really enjoyed having it my home. Provides exceptional reception and quality picture. Very easy to use and provides hours of pleasure. Very good buy and I highly recommend it.

Great tv for movie night! It has a great picture with deep blacks and vivid colors. It is bright enough for daytime but it really shines in a dim room for that theatrical experience. The stand is also very nice and seems more aesthetically thought out than most.

Sony has the best picture, bar none. Very easy set up out of box. Sony also has the best Smart TV - it's fast, android based and much better than my experience with Samsung. I actually use the smart feature rather than using my Roku. Great purchase, I love it.

Easy to set up, great picture, easy to use - talking to google, use of remote, adding apps, etc. Very happy with Sony brand, our older tv is a Sony. Fits our wall unit well. Picture is sharp, clear, looks great, colors, good depth of picture.

Excellent TV worth every Penny. The Blackest of Blacks and the most Vivid coloration, I have ever seen. Was skeptical stepping up to OLED but am incredibly glad that I did. Took a couple steps though as I upgraded twice from LG to this Masters Series. Absolutely NO comparison (sorry LG Folks). This Set is Phenomenal. Only concern that I would pose to potential buyers is the luminosity is not that of a traditional set. As with All OLEDs, they are somewhat dimmed (not less detailed-just not as bright). This needs to be considered if you intend to view with a bright ambient lighting scheme or even a bright sunlit room I would utilize a light meter, in the room, prior to purchase to measure existing ‘kelvins’ (amount of light), then discuss with specialist. If a non-issue by all mean...LEAP, but wait for sale pricing!

This Sony A9G Master Series OLED 4K TV is absolutely the very best purchase we have made in years! The screen is so bright and yet the blacks are truly black. The contrast is perfect! We can’t ask for more than what this TV provides.

Top of the line Sony TV, but expensive. Deep, rich blacks and vivid colors make this a Sony flagship product. I would recommend this TV to a friend, if it is on sale. Check of the Sony A8 series for similar features at a lower price.

Sony products have always been a favorite of mine, and the 55" Bravia doesn't disappoint. The picture is crisp, vivid and the colors are spectacular. The sound is excellent. The set-up was easy and straight forward. Thanks Sony!!

Finally got around to buying and setting up this TV. I am impressed with the picture, even from lower def sources like older video games. Very easy to set up. I liked it so much I'm going to buy a 65 inch Sony OLED for the workout room.

This TV has this best picture you could ask for. The details are very sharp and the colors are fantastic. Great tv for watching sports and movies!! Best of all it was very easy to set up including the sound bar.

THE COLORS DO NOT SEEM AS VIVID HERE AS IT DID IN THE STORE. OTHERWISE IT IS QUICK AT CHANGING BETWEEN APPS AND EASY TO SET UP AND USE. THE PICTURE IS CLEAR AND SHARP. BUT IT IS MORE LIGHT A COMPUTER THAN A FORMER TV IN THE FACT THAT YOU MUST CLEAR PAGES IF TO MANY ARE COMPILED TO CONTINUE. A BIT SPENDY FOR THE PRODUCT.

Really impressive picture quality. Set up was very easy and intuitive. The sound quality is very nice, straight from the television. Integrated well with other devices, so I only have to use one remote.

I've been making study on this model, A9G since it announced. Went to YouTube and watched the demo and really fell in love with it. Once BestBuy announced this lower price I immediately went there and purchased it. My son-in-law helped me installed it and wow! Amazing color and picture that's look real. Compare with Sony and LG Sony is much better with its latest technology and chips. We're a fan of Sony as well that our last purchased from BestBuy was a Sony 55" 4K. Christmas came early for us. ~~Fred~~

Completely satisfied with our Sony OLED 4K UHD Smart TV. The picture and sound quality is outstanding. It is very easy to navigate between streaming services and our regular TV station provider.

My two installers, Joel and Rodrigo, arrived on time and got right to work. They walked me through the process and made sure I fully understood the features of my new Sony smart OLED TV and sound bar. They discovered that my old Router was not providing enough speed to allow my new system to operate at its full capacity. They ran a test and showed me the current speed. They asked if I wanted a new Router to take full advantage of my system and I said yes. They drove back to the store and picked up a Nighthawk Gamer Router. While they were gone, I called my nephew, who works for AT&T and he laughed and said, I have told you more than once that your speed was pitiful. Once connected, the speed was tripled. Not only on my new TV, but on every wi-fi device I have. It even maintained the higher speed on another floor. I’m very impressed that Joel and Rodrigo went the extra mile, literally, to make sure I was getting the full benefits from my new system. They also walked me through the short cuts to maneuver between the features. I hope Management understands how impressive these two gentlemen are. They provided 5 Star Customer Service. That’s not something you see anymore. Bravo Best Buy, especially Joel and Rodrigo !

Ease of use is amazing, also sound is probably the best. The only critique I have is the mic went out for a period of 2 months. I would not recommend the GSP and just go with the Manufacturer extended plan instead. Sony was more responsive than Geek Squad. Don’t buy the GSPs at Bestbuy
