Sony 55" BRAVIA 8 II OLED 4K

Could not be happier with the with picture and sound. Also, the glare reduction on the screen is perfect for our home and window glares are no longer seen when the picture is on. Our first larger size TV was a Sony Bravia 20 years. When we wanted to update tried a different brand and was not satisfied. Went back to Sony Bravia and are Sony forever now!

The best tv ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony Bravia 8/2 is the best tv out there now don’t know were to begin with the amazing features this tv has guess the best is how it groups all the free channels in one spot were you never have to look for them there all there it’s amazing how you can watch tv without any subscriptions to anything but the internet . Amazing how good this tv is I’m glad I spent the extra dollars to get it absolutely well worth it.

Move Over Plasma!

Great picture, The best for streaming services, and Blu Ray discs. Only down sides are the 2 HDMI 2.1 inputs that have a max refresh rate of 120hz, and the wide dimensions needed for the stand.

It’s super slim, easy to set up, the picture is crisp and vibrant, the sound is clear and concise. While watching something, it’s like I’m in the movie/TV show. This TV is amazing. The remote has convenient Netflix and other streaming platforms so it’s easy to navigate. I’m also able to screen share with my phone along with other features so I’m super happy with it! No complaints!

The built in sound has negated the need for a sound bar in the room we are using the TV, but we are going to connect since we have one which is easy to do. Love the built in streaming and casting functionality. Very happy with this purchase.

Best tv I have evened owned

This Sony OLED tv is great in this very bright room. Colors are also as close to perfect as any tv I have ever owned. And I’m 75 so I have owned a lot of TV’s. I would definitely recommend and buy this Sony tv again. Bravia 8-II OLED 2025 model.

Absolutely amazing picture

This TV is fantastic. It is the first TV that I've purchased in my life where the picture has been perfect out of the box. No need to tweak for this and that.. its just ready to go and looks great doing it. I've tried LG, Samsung and even Panasonic this year and this TV just has something the others don't.. extreme clarity. The picture is just clean, no noise, no extra image grain.. just nice and sharp, bright and full of color. True it is the dimmer of the 4 Premium OLED TVs this year but you wouldn't know it. It handles dark scenes with aplomb and bright scenes can sear your eyeballs. Game mode is also great. No dimming, super colorful and punchy. True it only has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports but the internet will tell you that you HAVE to have 4. Not everyone does.. unless you have an Xbox Series AND a PlayStation 5. Switch 2 can use one of the 2.0 ports without any issue. Give this TV a try.. you won't send it back.

One downfall is I am not able to access imax features because of my location it won’t load you have to be in town on a high speed internet for it to work. This tv was very easy to set up well worth it!

Great TV, got it on sale!

Color and brightness is solid in a bright room, despite windows in this room facing west. Setup is easy, app is nice but not exactly necessary. Tons of features I haven't even explored yet. Shows like The Expanse look amazing when the room is dark. Also- got it on sale, then it went on bigger sale for an additional $500 off- went into the store and they matched price, refunding me the $500. Good customer service experience, good tv.

Assembly of TV was fairly simple however we needed to call customer service for a couple of clarifications. He was helpful. Best Buy delivery brought the box in the house, but that was about it.

I retired a 15 year old plasma tv with this Sony. The 4k sports broadcasts are amazing. You can see the shine in the football player’s helmets and blades of grass on the field. I’m getting a second tv like this to replace another old one. This tv is a winner

The picture quality is outstanding; it almost appears to be 3D. I had to but a soundbar as it was difficult for me to heat what the actors.were saying as the background sounds are so loud.
