The picture quality is absolutely gorgeous — rich colors, deep blacks, and very natural, lifelike detail. Even older shows look noticeably better on this screen. The setup was surprisingly simple, and the interface is clean and intuitive. Switching between apps, streaming, and devices is quick and seamless. The TV is also very responsive, and the remote is easy to navigate. We paired ours with a high-quality soundbar, and together the experience feels like a home theater. Overall, this Sony Bravia 8 has been an excellent upgrade — worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Could not be happier with the with picture and sound. Also, the glare reduction on the screen is perfect for our home and window glares are no longer seen when the picture is on. Our first larger size TV was a Sony Bravia 20 years. When we wanted to update tried a different brand and was not satisfied. Went back to Sony Bravia and are Sony forever now!

Amazing how good this tv is I’m glad I spent the extra dollars to get it absolutely well worth it.

Refurbished Sony - 55" Class BRAVIA 8 II OLED TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got a refurbished version of a Sony 55" Class BRAVIA 8 II OLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV. It was listed for $1,100, and I asked the store why over the phone, and they didn't see anything wrong with it. I immediately bought it before they changed the price to one for an "excellent" condition version of the TV. I picked it up and got the 5-year warranty just in case. It took hours before I finally realized why it was marked down, but it was so minor that it didn't make a difference in me wanting to keep the TV. I could have gotten an LG C5 or Samsung, but for the price I paid, this TV was light-years better than I could have anticipated owning. The processor is better than the one I had with my LG CX and feels very premium. If you don't like it being so "4K," switch to Cinema, and it still pops without the sensory overload. Even at face value, I highly recommend this Sony TV.

Great Decision

I bought mine at the Tustin location where they have all TV’s displayed very nice so you can judge no matter what brand you’re buying. The sound even without a sound bar is amazing. I can’t imagine what’s it’s going to be like when I do plug my soundbar in and use it

The picture on the Sony BRAVIA 8 II OLED is beautiful — deep blacks, great color, and everything just looks sharp and natural. Movies and shows look amazing, and even regular streaming looks better than I expected. The sound is also surprisingly good. I thought I’d want a soundbar right away, but honestly the built-in audio is more than fine. The remote is another plus. It’s simple, easy to use, and doesn’t feel cluttered. Google TV runs smoothly and setup was quick. I also want to mention the staff at Best Buy. I was pretty overwhelmed trying to pick the right TV, and having someone knowledgeable walk me through the options and help me choose what actually fit my home was a huge relief. That made the whole process a lot easier—the Google TV app. works seamlessly. I am looking forward to casting photos and sharing them with family and friends on the 55" screen! Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase and have zero regrets. This is a great TV and I’m glad I went with it.

Great picture, The best for streaming services, and Blu Ray discs. Only down sides are the 2 HDMI 2.1 inputs that have a max refresh rate of 120hz, and the wide dimensions needed for the stand.

The staff went way beyond to locate their listed options. Spent 40 minutes searching but, they found it. Kudos to the entire staff at the Newport News store!! I will return for future purchases. As for the TV, it is exactly what I wanted. Excellent picture, sound, and seamless connection to my Sony Bravia Sound system.

It’s super slim, easy to set up, the picture is crisp and vibrant, the sound is clear and concise. While watching something, it’s like I’m in the movie/TV show. This TV is amazing. The remote has convenient Netflix and other streaming platforms so it’s easy to navigate. I’m also able to screen share with my phone along with other features so I’m super happy with it! No complaints!

The built in sound has negated the need for a sound bar in the room we are using the TV, but we are going to connect since we have one which is easy to do. This Sony OLED tv is great in this very bright room. Colors are also as close to perfect as any tv I have ever owned. And I’m 75 so I have owned a lot of TV’s. I would definitely recommend and buy this Sony tv again. Bravia 8-II OLED 2025 model.

Superior Sound and Picture!

We previously had a 10-year old Sony Bravia TV that was still a good quality TV and works perfectly fine. But we decided it was time to upgrade and are so impressed with the new TV in quality of picture (color saturation, crisp and sharp images) and sound is especially impressive—very rich tones. It was easy to set up. We use Xfinity/Comcast cable and tried using their 4K cable box but it is such cheap junk, we couldn’t get it to work so we are using the regular cable box. I would love to get rid of cable completely but my husband is reluctant. Most all of the channels are very nice on the new TV. I researched and read many articles online and they all said if you can afford it, get a Sony and they are so right! We did get this on sale but still a lot for an TV but if this lasts the 10+ years like our previous Sony TV (which is STILL in perfect working condition), it’s worth every penny!
