Good price, good installation job, sound is questionable.

Almost impossible to contact anyone with questions

I originally bought this TV as the best in class. The manager sold me on applying for a credit card to save $500 and to join the Best Buy “club” to save another $100. When I tried to get more info about questions, I could NEVER contact anyone at the store and the call center had long holds. I ultimately had to visit the store to cancel the order, which I did.

It took two weeks to get delivered
The first time it was sceduled yhr dispatcher could not locate the delivery people assigned to the task.
The low rating, however, is due to the fact pixels drop when watching which is what was happening with the old tv.....same model 14 yrs old .. . I believe in sony.
I am calling the store and geek squad ...its a major problem. For a tv that is this expensive!

This is the best TV you can buy. The color rendition is amazing. No noise in blacks. The white balance is spot on, I was able to get a perfect black balance. The color tracking through all luminance levels was great.
I used the Calman software with the C6 camera to do an Auto Setup. The before readings were almost perfect right out of the box. After a 20 point adjustment everything hit the boxes.
I also paired the Bravia Theater 8 with the wireless subwoofer and surrounds. Unbelievable sound.
I’m extremely impressed.

purchase was facilitated by Jon an expert, knowledgeable about items he is recommending and able to implement the best features of the Sony TV on installation. Steve who was in charge of implementing the sound system (Sonos soundbar and two era 100s was similarly knowledgeable and facile with installation. Horrible this is the TRUTH, horrible, horrible. Sony has changed drastically they don’t have quality TVs anymore, I don’t know how to explain it horrible horrible horrible and blurry.
As the BRAVIA 8 II OLED is one of our top-of-the-line premium models, it is designed to deliver industry-leading clarity and should certainly not look blurry. To resolve this, please ensure your HDMI signal format is set to "Enhanced" and try switching to "Professional" picture mode to disable unnecessary processing. If these steps do not immediately resolve the issue, please contact our support team so we can investigate your specific unit and ensure you are getting the elite performance this TV is built to provide.
