We've had the new TV for about three weeks now and love the picture quality. I would have given the Sony a 5 star rating but I dinged Sony for doing what most all of the other TV manufactures are doing: Having lousy speakers built in to the TV. This makes buying a sound bar or other speaker arrangement necessary. I don't think this should be the 'norm' for manufacturers, especially those with excellent reputations otherwise like Sony and Samsung. I would still recommend this to a friend with the caveat that you will need to by a soundbar/woofer or other speakers to fully enjoy this Sony TV.

Always a Samsung TV buyer until now. Love, love, love my new Sony 55 inch 4K Sony 9000 series smart tv. I am now a fan of Sony. The best hands down. Very clear, real, colorful view and simple to navigate. Simply beautiful. I am hooked and really enjoying it. The Best Buy rep was right, this tv is awesome. Really happy with my purchase, worth every penny.

I had Sony TV(s) when the tube were the things in the past and recently my son broke my previous Sony Bravia KDL-52XBR6 52" TV with his toy. I thought Bravia KDL-52XBR6 was my best LED TV. However, my now Sony X900F Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV with HDR is awesome picture. Wow, what a picture with 4K with movies and Video game.

After 12+ years with Samsung went back to Sony. No regrets,quality and value x your money excels. It comes to what are your expectations on a certain product. My other alternative was the Q8F from Samsung at $500+ more. Sincerily,no need for the extra expense. Out from the box great and after fine tuning event better. Highly recommended.

My wife and I love this TV. The color and clarity is absolutely amazing. It makes watching programs set in scenic locations especially nice. The only problem is you get so caught up in the beauty of the picture you might miss a little bit of the story. That’s a good problem.

Colors on LEDs re highly saturated and on the cool side. Coming from a Sony Bravia LCD (top of the line in 2008) which still looked amazing, it's quite a difference. Fortunately my installer recommended a Geek Squad custom calibration after 100 hours of use - which I still haven't achieved. Had I purchased a downline model this would not have been an option! I was told I could expect more depth and separation of color in blacks and a finer tuning of primary colors. When that happens I will update my review! Other than that I'm happy with the performance.
