Loved the tv BUT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought July 4, 2017. Loved the picture. Loved the apps. XBR55X930D has a known power failure. They’ve extended that TVs warranty. I’m having same issue where my xbr55x930e tv that doesn’t turn on. Chatted with multiple Sony reps, countless unplugs and factory reset attempts have not helped. Tv lasted a lil over a year and am told tough luck. Thanks Sony.

SONY XBR55X930D Dead after 9 Months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased a SONY XBR55X903D in Nov 2016 after a lot of research from BestBuy. Last week the TV went dead (no power). Called SONY customer service (non-English speaking service from South America) and was told a technician will contact me. After 5 days of no TV, I had a contracted technician come today and repair the TV by installing a new power board. It is working now, but do not know for how long. The technician says he has multiple repair calls daily for this model and the 65" version of this. Not what I expected from SONY as I have multiple SONY TVs plus other SONY equipment. I would stay away from this model or similar ones and look at Samsung or LG.

Not happy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This might be an excellent piece of hardware, however I am furious to discover that my shiny new $1500 TV does not come with a manual or user guide. What the heck!! There is a 100+ page PDF help guide online, and Sony will happily sell me a printed copy for $30, but they caution that the printed manual that they want to sell you has no table of contents and no index. This is an insult. To me, this is just plain shabby for a premium product in this price range. My last two televisions were Sony's and they came with nice printed manuals. My next television will be another brand.

blotches inside screen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought the 900e was very happy with it then about a month in dark blotches appeared in side the screen returned it for another one same thing now ive paid for my tv and geek squad every month and now the 900e is obsolete they cant find one to exchange it and im out 300 already not fair used to luv sony wat happened they wont help
