He recommended this television because he said he himself had it. I have to say it is a great purchase. The television picture is very clear and sharp. The audio is great. The only downfall is the add ons that keep popping up on the screen. At what point does Sony not realize that people don't want advertisements going across their screen is beyond me. Otherwise else I would highly recommend this television.

If you’re looking for a High end tv that has every feature as well as quality picture/sound/speed/features as well as knowing it will last for at least 5-10 years as long as kept in good condition. Have had Sony’s for the last ten years mine only broke during moving and it was so hard for me after already having one for so long to switch to Samsung or LGs nee higher end tvs. The picture is amazing and the processor is geared towards gaming.

HDR content looks great and the black levels for this TV make it that much more pleasing to the eye. Coming from an excellent x930e, lower brightness doesn't bother me as this TV gets bright enough to make HDR content pop. The processor in this TV is super fast and scrolling through the menus is smooth! Aside from Sony removing smooth gradation from this set, banding isn't that big of an issue with this set in my opinion. Overall this was a great purchase!

This is the most fantastic TV, I am very impressed with it. My only regret is that it is an Android TV and I am a fan of the Apple Eco System, however it pairs outstandingly with my Apple TV Box. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone.

The picture was unacceptable out of the box. I tried for more than a week to get it to look good but could not. I tried turning off and on all of the options but that did not work. I do not know why but it gradually became better and in about two weeks it became very good/great. I had four weeks to return it or I would have returned it before it became acceptable. Maybe it needed time to break in but I have never heard this about a TV before

If you're considering waiting for the new 2021 X90J, which will start at $1,500 ($500+ difference for a marginally better image), I would definitely select this TV. For just under $1,000 you get an awesome deal and a great TV. I love gaming (PS4, PS5, and Xbox) on this TV! Definitely future-proof for the next several years. You won't be sorry!

So I did a lot of research online and in store to see the differences in LED, OLED, etc and etc. Being a gamer, this X900H was one of the higher rated sets for both the PS5 and XSX. Since I didn't think spending 2k+ was necessary, I chose the X900H based on the overall balance of features versus intended use. As a BestBuy elite member I even got a slight discount! I ordered online and set for pickup in store. Walked in, they got the TV, loaded into the SUV and we got it home. Setup was easy and after tweaking a few visual and audio settings I was done. The set provides good contrast for both colors and blacks. This was the case for both the XSX and watching TV with pictures remaining vivid across many different genres. There were little to no artifacts and I actually had very good viewing angles even from the side. The X900H IS a step up from the older Bravia we had. Definitely nice to have the Smart options such as Netflix and Disney+ since we have accounts and can log in directly. Was also nice to control the sound system through the TV itself, which eliminates the need for multiple remote controls. If the room and house were bigger, I would have stepped up from the 55i though...lol.

I purchased this TV to go along with my Xbox series X and it has been amazing. I had originally bought the the LG nano85, but that TV was garbage and it suffered from Backlight bleeding like no tomorrow. I replaced the LG twice and both of them had those issues. Since this Sony is full array, I had zero Backlight issues. I am beyond in love with this TV and the picture quality is amazing. It was worth spending the extra $200 on this TV.
