This TV was a major upgrade from my previous 40inch 4K Samsung TV with increase in screen size + android tv features and amazing picture quality. I’ve used for all purpose including movies, PS4 gameplays and online streaming. The price is worthy for what you get out of it. Be sure to get a sound bar along to maximise the experience.

Great for TV (except the cable might not look the best), streaming apps (Netflix especially) and video games. If you're looking for those OLED blacks/contrast this is the closest you'll get before paying at least $400-$800 more. It will also support HDMI 2.1 (unlike the 950H which might be a better viewing experience but not enough)

Now that I've started watching this new SONY 55" 4K UHD TV, the blacks are BLACK, the color nice & vivid and the clarity is amazing. Now I'm on the search for a 4K BluRay player...hopefully in a PS5 to be able to enjoy this video content upgrade in quality. SONY does not disappoint when it comes to A/V gear.

I was in the market for a new tv because my previous was on its last leg. My previous tv was a plasma screen tv and wasn’t a smart tv. This tv was one of the affordable 4K smart TVs that have the hdmi 2.1 connection that enhances my ps5 experience. Of this tv continues to keep performing the way it does then I’ma very satisfied customer.

Great TV after some tweaking

Thankfully there are a lot of settings to get the image right. Out of the box the image is very dark, even on “max brightness”. It’s great having the ability to get 120fps for gaming is nice, a promised VRR update will be great also. There were some other minor issues that were corrected with an update, but overall I’m very happy with the TV.

Best TV I ever Owned.

Started playing God Of War (First time playing God Of War) and Call Of Duty. And this TV is by far GOAT looks amazing. Also played FIFA 20 and feels like I’m playing FIFA 21 don’t need to buy it this coming fall lol. God Of War looks like I’m playing on a PS5 already. Can't wait to start playing on the PS5.

Great Tv. Sound needs improved

Use mainly for apps like Netflix, Plex. 6 mths I have had a sound issue once just had to unplug. It is a like computer/cell phone. Sometimes you have to reset. A few times screen has gone black as other reviews havbe stated but figured out its just the app that you left open. Nothing is loaded so just hit the back button a few times and all is there.

We replaced a 15-year old Sony Bravia and this is a significant step up for a lot less than we paid for its predecessor. The colors are stunning especially when we are watching a move. That makes sense to me as Sony among other things is a motion picture company. The only drawback is sometimes while watching TV and using our sound bar the sound doesn’t sync w the picture, and I have to toggle on and off the sound bar. Wish that didn’t happen. Overall, I’d buy it again.

Super picture from broadcast, streaming and gaming. Unless you really want oled this Sony 900 gives a lot of great picture quality for the cost.
