Bright/dim & color options aren't very good

We have the brightness set at Max and it's still a little dark for our liking. Picture can be seen okay. Just seems like there should be play room for too much brightness as well as darkening. Color options are okay, but could be better. There are plenty of hook up ports in the back. We have a DVD, VHS, two types of Play Stations, & two Wii games hooked up. Also, like how the frame around the TV screen is thin and makes the total TV size smaller but still gives the 55" screen. Having the smart TV also lets us connect to our internet service and get free access to movies & music as well has paid features. We almost returned the Sony TV do to the bright/dim option, but decided to give our self time to see if we can adjust to the darker screen than we are used to.

Game mode is priceless ,I’m a happy customer no buyers remorse here.. I will be buying another one but smaller..

This tv also claims to be ready for the new gen ps5 which is a huge plus with low latency lag and future vrr support. If you are looking for a gaming tv whether ps5 or Xbox series and a nice all around tv this is the one for you. You won’t be disappointed.

There really is something to spending more than the bear minimum for a TV. I wanted this TV as it was the cheapest that has a built in ATSC 3.0 TV tuner to be able to receive 4k OTA channels. The other features such as Dolby Vision are amazing.

Tried to replace my old TV with a few 55' budget 4k TV's but they looked horrible/washed out in 1080p so returned them. This Sony is a definite upgrade from the Samsung. Great clarity and vibrant colors. 4k blu-ray movies look fantastic. Get what you pay for...recommended.

Great entry level gaming tv

Great tv for watching movies and sports but do know that there are still better tv’s out there this is just a great entry level tv...

This is definitely the right tv. The color and brightness are great. I do not have any difficulty with glare as a lot of the you tubers said. There is limited glare in my bright room. The motion on this tv is great. I have yet to find anything I'm not satisfied with.

So far I love it. Great black levels and color imo. Hooked up the PS4 and played Ghost of Tsushima on it and the visuals were impressive for the price. 950$ is pretty good for a TV that looks this great.
