Great TV but issues with HMDI ports

The only issue I can identify with my Sony X900H is that I sometimes have trouble adding new devices because the TV won’t recognize the HDMI input. It seems like it’s a dead port. Sometimes I have to swap out cables into the 1 “working” port. Sometimes after reboots it fixes it and it recognizes other ports. Definitely an annoyance at times, but that’s the only bad thing about my TV.

Way past warranty, a personal problem

However, it took until recently (its been almost 2 years since my purchase) that 1 problem occurred. The signal to view as a display for my computer is broken. I dont know why or how to fix it, but for the time being i can use my portable elgato game capture as a pass through. It works but sound wouldnt, thats fine as long as ive solved the issue to an extent...
