Great picture sound issues

Not sure if there is a defect in the tv but after a week I can’t take it anymore. We got it for the 2.1 compatibility as we game and the picture looks great. Immediately had to get on the computer to do an update thank goodness for the internet but now I’m over it.

The upscaling and smoothness of the UI was the best and looked sleek. Great value for the money, not going to lie. However, Sony drama, VRR and ALLM not being included for a while if at all, (even 2021 models won’t be out of the box according to a disclaimer on the videos) and the 4K 120hz blur was a dealbreaker for me

We're glad that you like the UI of the TV. It's unfortunate that you are not having a complete experience because of the 4K 120Hz blurry issue and no VRR/ALLM support.
A U.S. Sony Support article was updated and incorrectly removed a reference to future support for VRR and ALLM for the X900H series.
Please note that this was an error, and the plan to support these features is unchanged from the previous communication wherein we state that the X900H will support VRR and ALLM via a future firmware update. The article containing the erroneous information on Sony Support has been updated with the correct information: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors/articles/00246472
Our apologies for any confusion this may have caused.
A firmware update version v6.0414 is now available to resolve the 4K 120Hz blurry issue. You should have received a notification on your TV to download the latest firmware, just make sure you have an active internet connection.

However, network setup to 5GHz can't be accomplished even with tech support from Sony. Do not use Geek Squad to deliver and setup up TV, sound bar, and DVD player as the set up was not satisfactory. Had to spend hours to get everything to work except for the 5GHz. Best Buy customer support is a nightmare!

Beautiful picture, horrible sound.

It doesn't support 4k at 120hz but still good for the price range. The sound is absolutely trash...the worst! I had a samsung that was half the price of this tv and the sound was way better. It's really agrevating honestly. Now I have to look into getting external speakers just to compensate.
