Bad tv

Their products are usually high quality and I’ve never had issues. This tv however was awful. The audio constantly cut out, picture settings constantly reverted back to default settings and the 4K 120hz mode was a mess. I gave the tv a chance but Sony never fixed the issues with an update. Look elsewhere. I got an LG CX and won’t be getting another Sony anytime soon.

We regret to hear that you're having an issue with the TV. The problem might resolve with the picture and sound adjustment of the TV. You can configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality or screen size and you can configure various settings related to the TV’s sound such as sound quality and sound mode.
Press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — the desired option.
To support a 4K 120Hz signal from another device, you will need to set the TV HDMI Signal Format to an Enhanced format for your source device to recognize the 4K 120Hz capability of the TV. Make sure your device is connected to the HDMI 3 or HDMI 4 input on the TV using the supplied Certified Premium HDMI cable.
Select Settings → Watching TV → External inputs → HDMI signal format.
Select the input the device is connected to (either HDMI 3 or HDMI 4), and then change the setting to Enhanced format.

Significant audio problem for me

Therefore, we need both headphones and TV speakers to work together. My other TV Model 55X800E can handle this duel capability. However, this Model 55X900H cannot. This is a major problem for me. If there is a way to get this to work, I would appreciate the help. Right now, I really can't keep this TV, as we both can't watch it at the same time. When I plug the headphones in, the TV speakers don't work.

I looked it up and turns out these Sony 4K TV x models have a blur problem and they don't support HDMI 2.1 until Sony decides to do an update. I stayed with the TV for a whole month waiting for the Sony until I realized why should I have to wait when BestBuy allows you to return and exchange? I ended up exchanging this Sony 55'' X900H for a Samsung 55'' QLED Q70t and let me tell you I noticed the difference right away. I'm not saying the Samsung is better, but it is as of now until Sony decides to update their TVs
