Huge disappointment

It has been over a month since I had requested services for a TV that only has sound (pandemic issues). SONY has yet to get back to the Geek Squad after replacing every internal board. I have the extended warranty, and it has been 2-weeks now while waiting for "the next step". This should have been replaced after it would not work with all new internal boards. It has great picture and sound when it worked.

Sony get your act together

I had issues with wifi, soundbar connection and choppy video glitches. If Sony could deliver on the promised features I would have kept liked this TV.

Not as great as sony says!

Volume disappears after using bluetooth headphones

When we're done gaming we'll usually turn off the tv but not disconnect the Bluetooth headphones. When we return to the tv it wont be connected to the headphones any longer (they don't even show up on the Bluetooth connect screen) and that's when it happens - the TV will have no volume at all. No matter what we try the volume wont return. Its like the Bluetooth connection got lost and took the volume with it never to return. We turn Bluetooth off, we test the sound settings, reset to factory settings - we've tried everything trying to figure it out but only unplugging the TV resolves the issue. Its driving us insane.

Do not buy this TV

It was working OK, would occasionally drop sound but a reset would get it working again but Saturday Feb 27 2021 I woke up and tried to turn it on, no go. 4 flashing red lights. Trouble shoot, no dice. Support orders parts, have to wait a week, until Friday evening March 6 2021 before the repair is done. Go to turn it on this evening and what do you know, no dice again. 4 flashing red lights. Try all the same troubleshooting because I literally had it repaired freaking 24 hours previously but nope. And now Sony is telling me I have to wait until Monday, March 8th to even be able to talk to support about fixing this issue. THAT WAS LITERALLY JUST FIXED THE DAY BEFORE. The TV is barely 3 1/2 months old and now I get to stare at an $1100 black rectangle once again. Thanks so much Sony.

Sony Smart Android TV is really dumb
