Great for Gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I primarily use this TV for gaming but it’s also a decent device for streaming / app usage. The main likes are the picture quality, HDR and refresh rates. I don’t have a lot of downsides outside of Sonys UI / settings where the TV will sometimes requires reboots for dropped WiFi or even Audio.

Not worth it

Pricey and broken in 6 months

Not sure what happened but it started to have streaks in the screen and started to flicker. I probably should have just bought the cheap best buy brand instead of paying extra for a sony

Tv Turns off and on constantly

Ive never had this issue with My previous Sony products and 90% of my house is Sony products.

Don’t buy

Great Set for the time.

My only complaint is internal storage capacity is limited, which means you have to delete / curate the apps you install, or find a separate smart box like an Apple TV that supports a lot more apps installed at a single time. Picture quality is top notch.

Great TV great picture

The only thing that kinda bugs me is Sony pushed an update to allow for VRR but it only works with local dimming off which is not worth it, this TV basically needs local dimming to look good.

Great Prouduct, but issues.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to get a PS5 and I wanted a new TV to go along with it. I was looking for a TV that was capable of 4k 120hz and this TV is one of the few that actually supports those features not to mention VRR is still coming via an update to the Tv and PS5 in the future. The TV picture is excellent and the 4k 120hz actually makes a noticeable difference if the game supports it. Everything is so much smoother and looks incredible. With all of that out of the way here's why I decided to give the TV a 3-star review. For $1000, I shouldn't expect to have any issues with the TV, but I do. First, the user interface can be a little bit laggy sometimes which is just a minor annoyance but I can get over that. The real issue is the sound not working properly. I have ATT Tv box plugged into Hdmi 3 and my PS5 plugged into Hdmi 4, with an optical cable plugged from the TV into my soundbar. I would say about 50% of the time I turn the TV on there is no sound coming out of my soundbar. I checked all the cables and the connections and came to the conclusion there is a software glitch in the TV. The only way to fix this issue is to restart the tv and it goes away temporarily. Until Sony fixes this issue via a software update, I am going to leave my review as stands.
