Purchased this to replace a returned Samsung UN65JS8500 that I had swapped out once for the same model that showed problems due to the edge lit design. The Samsung glowed at the edges frequently trying to be bright enough at the center of the screen. Their dimming just was not effective. Bought this hesitantly due to same design, but this TV is a night and day difference. Sure, it's not an OLED (hence the 4 stars) but it has a beautiful picture. And the dimming works very well only occasionally showing that milky look at the edges. I've tested the HDR streaming on NETFLIX and has a very 3 dimensional look to it and look of depth with beautiful colors. The Samsung SUHD was am entirely unacceptable replacement for my Panny Plasma due to marginal motion handling and poor black levels. While this doesn't have the screen uniformity or black levels of plasma nor the outstanding motion handling of plasma. It is by far the best non FALD LED I've ever seen. A pretty good alternative to OLED which has its own set of problems esp for the price.

I bought this TV for a great price since the new model was out and I wanted this model for the speakers so I wouldn't have to get a sound bar. The picture is great but the sound isn't as good as I expected based on the reviews I read. It is probably due to my open room but overall I still love the TV.

The 65 class Sony TV is everything we expected. Great picture

We have had no problems with this TV. We took it out of the box, installed it on the wall and turned it on with no problems! Picture quality and sound are very good! The salesman in the store was very helpful, too!

Bought a 4k Blu-ray player, needed a tv that supports HDR. This one does the trick. It's tricky, you have to turn on HDR for each HDMI input you need it in, but once I found that, all was well.

Purchased this on clearance of last years models. I am very impressed with both the picture and sound. This is the first tv of this quality I have purchased and I have not been disappointed.

The sound and picture is great. It looks like a piece of art above my fireplace

I've owned Sony Flatscreens from the old Vega's to the XBR series. This is a whole different world. The smart features are seamless and the picture is like looking out a window.

I've owned a 46in Samsung for 7 years now and decided it was time for an upgrade. I play video games a lot and love to watch movies. This TV is all around amazing!! The 4k picture is so sharp and crisp. I never thought there was a big difference between 4k and LED but boy was I wrong. Compared side by side 4k blows the LED out of the water. Having speakers built into the tv the way they are makes for some excellent sound quality. But like everything you buy new you'll have to tweak it to your own personal taste. Had the TV for 4 months now and I'm still loving it!! Great investment if your looking for an amazing 4k tv that's 65in or bigger

Love the purchase, very nice picture with 4K or any other lower resolution content, and you just can't get any TV with this great sound quality out of built in speaker.

Sony made a great set with high picture quality and good sound system in one unit. Added the sub to fill in the bass and now only need surround for movies.

As a lifelong plasma owner (panasonic ST55) I can comfortably recomend this tv as the true heir to the plasma deep blacks. I have watched numerous blurays and upreszed 4k content and the colors on this set via "live color" setting are out of control good. Also the side speakers sound great and a step above any available sound bar but not as good as a dedicated 7.1 system obviously.

Great Picture and Sound. paid the extra $ to get a TV that sounds good without a sound bar or my receiver/surround turned on. Not disappointed
