Outstanding picture and outstanding price!

At the end of October, I had the pleasure of a visit from a wonderful, knowledgeable consultant. I held onto my quote hoping that prices would drop on Black Friday, and the prices did indeed drop! I now am grateful to have this Sony 65" A8G Series neatly installed above my fireplace by the Geek Squad. What a gem of a TV!

Great OLED, poor Android TV

Loved the ability to alter the stand to raise it above a soundbar. The only issue I have is Sony uses a cheap poor performing chip for Android TV. It runs sluggish navigating screens and I just found out Sony has no plans to upgrade Android TV to later versions that could improve usability. This is totally unacceptable to spend that much money on a new high-end TV only to have them not support or insure their implementation of Android TV was also high quality. Shame on you Sony!
