Excellent TV for great price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shopped several high quality TV's and this one was hard to beat. The picture quality at Bust Buy was very good but once home it was even better. The Sony 65 inch was on sale which tipped the scale. An extra added attraction was hiring the Geek Squad to install it and hide the wires in the wall. The whole experience was enjoyable and now we binge stream all the great shows in 4K UHD with HDR.

Awesome TV
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing picture. Still have a 55” plasma 1080p and the improvement in picture quality is evident. Have yet to make a comparison in fast motion sports to see the impact there. Has Netflix and Amazon apps installed as well as You Tube. The only difficulty I have is accessing more than one HDMI port. The wall mount that Best Buy sold and installed for me does not allow access to the 3 (I think) on the rear, so adding other devices will require a different mount

Who needs a super power tv if you can’t get the in
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently fell for the 64” Sony Bravia OLED. In the store... it has hands down the best picture! In my home , however... it’s just... okay. I was assured by the salesman I didn’t any special “fiber optics “ to supply the information . Even the screen savers are mediocre ! I wish I had purchased a 75” Samsung QLED - at half the price! I’ve even tried a Blue ray video... just not that great. I realize this is a first world problem. I may have expected too much..? My previous tv was a Hisense Riki that I payed around $350. for. Yes.. the Sony is better but not as expected. Oh .. I should add the remote is maddening ! Way too many buttons!

Great TV overall
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had about a month now, beautiful tv. Only complaint is going from 1080 to 4k, use antenna for tv, and can notice the lack of resolution on certain channels. Still quick through menus and navigating functions. My frustration still lays with the fact have sonos system. And when you disable internal speakers, it doesnt stop the display of volume level like other TV's. Hoping that sony sees enough of these complaints and adds a update to change. Besides those two issues, 5 ⭐

Just might be the BEST TV so far...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am blown away by this amazing TV. The colors are rich, detail is immense, blacks and shadow detail are out of this world. Viewing angles are crazy good. Sony motion processing and upscaling are top notch. No complaints whatsoever with this picture. Cons: HDR doesn't seem to produce the brightest highlights ever seen, but it's not a deal breaker. The remote is garbage and the set is constructed of cheap plastic. Highly recommend this TV, it is awesome.

The colors and shape distinctions are unbelievable
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Sony 65" OLED wall mounted with the hidden wire option when the TV was delivered. I am surprised how that opened up the living room floor; and the OLED picture sharpness is everything one would wish for! Watching red football shirts (Go Chiefs!) was absolutely sharp to the shape of the player, with no color bleed.. Viewing any of the latest movies also show the actors and shapes on screen take on a very real dimensional effect! Very glad I upgraded!!!

Picture and clarity is amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony Bravia is beyond all my expectations of any television I've seen. The 4K and 5K films/videos seem as if you can reach out and pet the tiger or eat the pizza right from the screen. Watching a 4K U-Tube nature video I almost got motion sickness as the views took me off a cliff it looked so real. Our family is really looking forward to watching the Super Bowl this Sunday as sports shows are on the next level of clarity. Extremely happy with our purchase.

Best I ever owned...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've purchased many tvs in my lifetime and this is the best I ever owned. It makes movie watching incredible and realistic. Most the tvs I purchased were Samsung brands, the quality of Samsung disappoints now. I'm not a gamer so don't know how it well perform. The only down side of the TV is the brightness, maybe because I owned many Samsung tvs., but I can live with it because the details on this beast is soo amazing... Trust me, this TV is the one...

Great TV for 4K blu-rays, not so much for off-air
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This OLED TV has an amazing picture with incredible black levels. It streams NETFLIX, Hulu, and Amazon Prime quite well. Iv'e even used it with a FireTV stick to stream AppleTV and to my surprise, the Sony remote works with this combination so I don't need the Amazon remote. Streamed 4K material can look very good, but not as good as Ultra HD Blu-rays. Over-the-air HD content looks great, when it finally decides to tune in a channel. You can't channel-surf on this TV because it takes so long to change channels and it quickly gets behind your channel changes with the remote. I also have a much less-expensive X800G which doesn't have this problem so it makes me wonder if it has enough processing power

Great TV at an expensive price !
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV and yields a great picture. Connecting it was not an issue. Mounting it was a little bit of an issue because it's not a light TV. The TV was not compatible with a older Sony DVD player. That was disappointing. The amount of apps and options that has built-in is pretty amazing. If you want a great picture and can afford the price this is the TV for you.

Pleasure to watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was concerned about the picture quality before replacing our plasma and I’m not at all disappointed. The new set operates super fast and surprisingly cool, I’d have to say the power consumption must be considerably less than the plasma set. My only dislike is the remote or hand control it’s awkwardly large yet hard to see descriptions of smaller buttons

Best TV i have ever owned!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give it a 1 for turning me into a TV junky :) I truly cannot stop watching movies now. Agreed that I am by no means a geek, but I am able to identify and appreciate quality. There is nothing more to say, Oled TVs are the best. Performance and quality are amazing. Pair it with a sound bar, Dolby Atmos capable, and there is nothing better.

BUYA!!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don’t get blindsided by YouTubers most of them get some kind of kickback for their so called “Honest Review”. A lot of them even Contradicting themselves. I decided to go and look at everything, I don’t care about a particular brand, just what my eyes can see. It came down to 3 different tv’s Samsung QLED, Sony 950 and the Sony OLED A8G. Most TVs these days look nice even most budget TVs. Sony OLED picture is world class. BUYA!!

Great OLED TV!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent OLED from Sony. Amazing! Thought I was happy with all of my Samsung LED tvs, but my brother told me to check out Sony. I was hesitant as this was the older model, however very impressed with the quality and performance. If buying a new tv now, the current model is A8H. I purchased extended warranty for a full 6 years, so I am overall happy and secure with this purchase!
