    I purchased this tv on 10/17 and it was supposed to be delivered on 10/25. I got confirmation email on 10/24. I kept waiting on 10/25 but didnt arrive. I called Best Buy and was told that delivery cancelled. again scheduled delivery for 11/1. finally got the tv but the screen has two small chip spots. not sure if I should keep the tv. has been hassle since I bought it. the ratings for tv are so good but I think I got a lemon. the picture quality is worse than 300 dollar vizio. Picture is so dull. not sure what to do........

    This is my first OLED tv, and for the most part I am really happy. I have been a loyal Sony customer for decades. The picture is amazing. The design, amazing. I love it, except... the following issues. 1) The simplest issue - why on earth isn’t the remote control backlit? My cable tv remote is backlit. For the price being paid, I believe it’s an inexpensive requirement. 2) Here is where it starts to get problematic... often enough, the tv screen goes black with the Bravia logo in the lower right side. If I hit the back button on the remote the picture will resume. But less than a minute later the screen will got black again. It’s as if it’s going to sleep or not recognizing the cable signal. If I turn the tv off and then on again, it resolves the issue. 3) I have the tv connected to a Sonos Arc (with sun and surrounds). If I use the TVs native Netflix app, the sound will randomly disappear. Happens pretty much every time I watch something on that app. Sometimes even after 45 minutes or so of viewing. If I leave the movie or show by going back to cable... then return to Netflix it fixes the problem. Temporarily. Based on what I have researched on various forums, I am not the only one who has this issue. At first people said it’s the Sonos system. But then there are complaints from people who have their Sonos systems connected to LGs or Samsung’s. It could be the hdmi/arc/earc handshake. As of yet there has not been an update that has fixed these issues. Once they are resolved I would definitely revisit my rating and give 5 stars. Service from Best Buy has been excellent. The quality of the tv and sound system are awesome (when working properly). Hopefully it will all be sorted soon. As of now I’m going on more than a month with the same issues.

    This TV dropped its sound after turning on. Sony and Google cant figure out why so I returned it for the Samsung. The Sony does have better picture quality but the Samsung actually works.

    Bought the TV & all was good initially... within 3 months TV became useless and non responsive. Did troubleshooting with Sony and wasted time trying to replace parts & scheduling a service repair. Only to agree to replace the TV, which is what I thought should have happened in the first place. Now the total repair will take 3 weeks. Buy with caution or not at all.

    Speed of the TV is very slow!

    Tv is great but the speed is the worst. I have to plug off the tv just to reset everything because its lagging. It takes 15 mins just to wait for a application to play. I regret buying this tv.

    Bought one, the sound went out within 10 days. The took it back to get another one. Next, there were two price drops. I caught one and got a refund. Would NEVER had paid the full price on this item. It varies on which shows look better or what looks like my last T.V.

    Sony Won't Release FW Fix

    I was told that I was getting rewards for this purchase and didn’t. I was told I just needed to hit tv and my tv, cable box and Bose sound bar would all come on and it never does. Still can’t get it to work.

    Sony OLED 65 inch TV defects

    The TV blacks out - and won't connect to the sound or image regularly when you try to turn the TV on. I went back to the store - and they said it was defective - with a short in the mother board. The store is replacing it at no cost and will set up at no cost. The service and assistance was excellent.

    The tv is not worth the price being ASK plus to add the TV come on by it's self like it has a mind of it's on i have to unplug the tv if gon for long periods of times & sometimes at night

    Gave a single star due to the sound issues we have been experiencing with the TV. We bought the A8H and the Sony - 3.1 Ch Hi-Res Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer. We have been experiencing a lot of issues with sound. There is no sound when streaming on Hulu/Amazon Prime. We have tried with and without the sound bar but are still facing the issue. On other streaming apps- the sound will cut out every now and then for a second or two which limits the experience. @SonyListens--- crying for help...

Please ensure both your TV and soundbar have the latest firmware. Perform a software update if they are outdated. The software update includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. Feel free to test the TV and soundbar again and verify if it resolves the issue.

    I bought a Sony xbr65a8h OLED TV the sales guy was really pushing this TV as being real good. needless to say the first TV i got home and the screen was cracked they said bring it back we will give you another one. It worked for 1 night then got a flashing red light called Sony they said the TV needs replaced. tried to call the store and waited on hold for 28 minutes to talk to a manager and i got someone who says we can just take a message at this point not happy with Sony or Best Buy
