    Bought this tv in Oct 10,2020. Today is February 26, 2022 and it has a vertical purple line clearly seen. It had a one year warranty but I didn’t purchase an extended because it’s a sony. Do not buy this piece of plastic. I paid $3278.69 for this. Something to think about ✅

    Vertical line developed, as at least a few have reported here, in under a year. Totally shocked. Have had prior good luck with Sony sets. Now I have to deal with repair, replacement etc. Very disappointed.

    This tv is not compatible with Xfinity’s streaming app. Best Buy Geek squad forgot to mention this issue even after I told them I have Comcast service.

    This will be my last Sony TV This TV has many issues, including randomly turning off and no I do not have sleep timer programmed. And it has many many issues for the USB drive play functions.

    This was our second Sony TV and we are having trouble with both.. we are calling in Someone to try and figure out the problems We can get the “voice to stop narrating on one and the picture freezes up on both and have to be constantly unplugged .. we did by warranties so it may end up we will be returning both.. VERY DISAPPOINTED spent the money but didn’t get the performance:(

    Dead almost immediately out of the box

    Got it all connected up, my 50" plasma looking dejected in the corner. Powered it on, started going through the setup just finished the google setup and the screen had weird artifacts then it turned itself off. Turned it back on, and a green bar down the left side of the screen and it turned off with the red LED 4 blinks of death. Sony used to make good products.

    Worst purchase of my life

    Zero stars. Built in wifi turns off every minute. Sony tells me its a software glitch and they hope to fix it. 8 months later the Tv is still a nightmare. Never purchasing anything from sony again in my life.

    Constantly dropping audio across all built in apps. Must restart TV to get audio back, sometimes only for 3 min then audio cuts out again. Super frustrating, especially given the cost to function ratio.

    Terrible Sound

    The sound is so bad you can not use the sound on the TV. You have to use stereo. I would never recommend this TV to anyone, unless it was more than a $1000 cheaper. This is the single worst purchase of my life.

    I do not care what negative review you guys read. its looks good with adjustable height stands, its fast going thru the application, it mirror my android and iphone with ease, it auto detects anything i connect to it and self setup to perfection, initial start up is easy, i am a google user and everything function with my google assistant. ( nice to say turn off my TV without me going down stairs ). I thought my PS4 graphic was good on my samsung TV until I plugged this thing in, whole new visual experience. Also the sound on this thing is way better then anything i have heard, the speaker is literally coming at your out of the screen, its not like the speaker is pointing downwards. Doesn't matter if your in front or behind the TV it full clear sound all around clearly. just like anything in life you take the time to learn something and get used to it. (example iphone to android). If you can comfortable reward yourself with a nice TV, buy it and trust me. Peace out- LT

    My 3yo Vizio 65 in. started having issues. I saw this TV a couple of yrs ago and salivated over it. The Sony 65” Bravia OLED is hands down the best tv I have ever owned. The screen is incredibly thin and light. There are warnings when you remove it from its box that it’s delicate and can become damaged. Clear pic, processes quickly, and has great sound. The set-up was so quick and easy. We connected it to our Vizio sound bar and I never knew how good my sound bar was bcz with my old tv the sound was less impressive. Don’t know how that can be but it’s true. We R looking forwards to PS 5 and this tv definitely will be able to produce the quality pic. I have my PS 4 connected and the pic is outstanding, game play has a faster reaction time without the previous delays I had experienced. I was a bit hesitant to pay the price but I’m glad I pulled the trigger. We have been in shelter in place so why not use it as an excuse to buy it?

    Started resetting randomly 7 months in after updat

    Great tv and it starts resetting itself randomly. Sony support is your standard jump through 100 hoops to file a claim
