Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are wanting to buy an OLED, Beware, if 80% of your TV viewing is Cable TV, like Spectrum or Xfinity or Antenna Free TV, Sony is the only brand that can perform the best up conversion to bring you an amazing blurry free picture period! I bought the LG E9 65' Series and what a mistake that was, constant blurry picture and yes, even with Audioquest Ocean HDMI Cables and exchanging out 7 cable boxes. It was a great disappointment and come to find out, LG OLED's are tuned for gamers and internet streaming, any other viewing outside of the mentioned, they are terrible. With Best Buy 14 day hassle free exchange policy, I chose to exchange it for the 2020 Sony A8H OLED and in my opinion it is the BEST OLED money can buy but most importantly the quality of viewing that the X1 Processor delivers for cable TV viewing! If they can do this great on HD and under 1080 up-conversion, imagine how breath taking it is at 4k or Internet Streaming, which I have witness in my home, unbelievable, both of best worlds! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Coming from another OLED and I am blown away.

I thought for sure there was no way the picture could get any better. I moved and realized I needed a 65" as I am way further back from the TV at my new place. I was going to buy the CX because I loved the C8 so much but I thought I would try something different with the SONY after I saw it was on sale. This A8H is incredible! The colors are amazing and the detail is insane. Its a bigger TV and looks way better and detailed then the 55" C8. I stream youtube TV for my cable and I was blown away watching a football game from my college school. I haven't been to a game for a while and it felt like I was there as the colors were so accurate. The X1 chip is what they use for the 8K TV and the Upscaling is superb. Thanks to LG for making the screen but thank you Sony for the internals.

I have been watching my Panasonic 3D plasma TV for the past 10 yrs, always wonder why people buy LED/LCD TV, the colors are not right, the OLED is the only one that could match the color rendering, pure black is true. color is very vivid and real, sound quality is very good even without the external speakers, in terms of that you won't regret, however: There is some draw backs: It is very thin and you have to be careful when handle it, there is no paper manual like the old days, it is built in or go on line I don't like that. you may need some help to set it up like ARC audio return channel. only 4 HDMI ports, so you better have a receiver, for the price you pay, it worth every dollar.

Only thing you wont have with this is HDMI 2.1 which really only benefits gaming. Otherwise if you can still find this TV in stores at a deal, buy it. Dont even think about it.

I went in with the expectation of buying the Q90T. However, I got overcome with the picture quality of the A8H --- both with 4k programming and non-4k programing. Now I understand why many say nothing compares to an OLED picture. I ordered the A8H. I can't believe I'm not disappointed in myself for spending so much money on a TV. It's that good. Unbelievable.

Great Sony OLED Purchase

I have the 90j, which I purchased 2 years ago and thought that that picture was unbeatable for a non-oled. I receive a lot of complaints on that tv but again this oled is even better. The blacks are much deeper the overall saturation of color, plus got an outstanding deal from Best Buy on cyber Monday and free flawless deliver.

We traded from a slightly smaller Sony LCD. Pros: Best sound I have ever heard from a flat-screened TV. Best overall picture I have had in a TV. Upscaling is fantastic. We watch a lot of older shows and this Sony brings them to life. Bluetooth for sound. Great for listening with earbuds. No motion issues. Fast processor. Everything is lightning fast. Cons: Mediocre glare handling. Our LCD was much better. 1-star off.

My last one had aged out of software updates and I got this one looking to go up a size from my 55 inch. The unbox and set-up took about 30 minutes. Most of the time was spent in adding apps and logging into them with my passwords. The android operating system made connection to the internet, google home, and sound bar seamless. The picture quality is awesome. Even on channels or apps that are not filmed for 4k it looks great. But when you se some of the beautifully filmed shows on the streaming services it will blow your mind. If I had anything to complain about it ould be that I would have preferred a differnt leg the ones that come with the tv required me to make some changes to the width of my mantle I rest my TV there as opposed to drilling into the brick work of my chimney to install a wall mount. But it was nothing that I could not address.
