Complete compatibility

75 inch Sony Bravo

It doesn’t work with my internet remote control l have to switch from air play every time I turn the tv on. I have tried everything to get it to come on when I use the cable remote. I can use my cable remote to watch tv afterwards but not when I first turn it on.

Make sure your Apple device and TV are connected to the same internet network. On your TV remote, press the Quick Settings or HOME button, go to Settings > System > Apple AirPlay & HomeKit > Apple AirPlay & HomeKit settings, and ensure AirPlay is turned on.
Make sure your remote control software is up to date. You can do this by accessing the settings menu on your TV, selecting "Remotes & Accessories," and then "Remote control" or "Voice Remote Control" followed by "Software update. Perform a power reset of your TV. Unplug the TV power cord, wait about two minutes, and then plug it back in. This can often resolve temporary and intermittent issues.
