Sony - 65" Class BRAVIA 3 LED 4K UHD Smart Google TV (2024)

We’ve had this Sony 65” Bravia 3 (2024 model) for close to a year and a half now, and it’s been a solid, no-fuss TV that we genuinely enjoy. We use it daily for streaming shows, movies, sports, and some casual gaming, and it continues to deliver a great picture that still looks fresh. What we love: • The colors are natural and vibrant right out of the box — Sony’s processing makes everything from 4K streaming (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) to regular cable look sharp and realistic. • Google TV interface is smooth and intuitive. Switching between apps is fast, and voice search works well. • Build quality feels premium for the price. The stand is sturdy, and the TV has held up perfectly with zero issues after 18 months of regular use. • Bright enough for our moderately lit living room during the day, and the wide viewing angles are perfect when family or friends come over. It’s not the brightest or deepest-black TV out there (no local dimming), but for normal viewing it’s more than good enough, and the motion handling works great for sports and movies. We’ve had zero reliability problems — it powers on instantly every time and the smart features haven’t slowed down. Things to Improve (Cons) • Blacks & Contrast: In darker scenes, the blacks look more gray than deep black. It’s noticeable when watching movies at night. • HDR Performance: HDR is okay but not mind-blowing. Brightness could be better to make highlights really stand out. • Gaming Features: Fine for casual gaming, but it doesn’t have 120Hz or VRR. Serious gamers might miss those. Overall If you want a large, reliable 4K TV with great color and a smooth smart interface, this is a fantastic choice. It’s not perfect for hardcore movie nights in pitch-dark rooms or advanced gaming, but for everyday use, streaming, and family viewing, I’m really enjoying it. Another solid product from Sony.

So I picked up the Sony Bravia 3 65” from Best Buy after convincing myself that yes, I do need a TV bigger than most LA apartments—and wow, no regrets. This thing is gorgeous. Picture: The image quality? Chef’s kiss. Everything is super crisp, colors pop like crazy, and it handles dark scenes like a pro. I turned on a nature doc and suddenly felt like I needed to start recycling more. Even my dog got confused by how real the animals looked. Sound: Surprisingly solid sound for something this thin. I expected to have to buy a soundbar immediately, but I’m holding off for now. The speakers get loud without sounding like a tin can with a megaphone. Smart Stuff: Google TV is snappy and easy to use—plus, it has all the apps I actually care about. I was watching Netflix within 5 minutes of plugging it in. Also, being able to yell at the remote and have it find my shows? Peak laziness. I love it. Gaming: I hooked up my PS5 and it’s a dream. Smooth, no lag, and everything looks stupidly good. I actually started losing because I was too busy admiring the graphics. Worth it. Final Thoughts: This TV made my old one feel like a toaster. If you’re on the fence—jump off and go get it. It’s sleek, smart, and probably the best 65” you can get without selling an organ.

Best TV ever for the price! I bought this TV back in June and it was heavily discounted but I think it’s still a steal for original price. The picture is amazing and is even better than some nice Samsungs. Sounds great and the UI was great! ALSO AMAZING FOR GAMING!!!

The picture quality is excellent for the price. Very easy to set up. Google tv and apple tv built in saves a step to watch your favorite shows and movies. But i cannot get this tv to stay connected to my WiFi. Have spent endless hours online researching, tried all suggested steps and eventually, the disconnected notification shows up on the top right of the screen. This drives me crazy!! Im not sure if it needs to be replaced, or of theres a fix available. If anyone can help, please do!!
