We are glad you have been able to appreciate the magnificent picture quality and the rest of the features the unit can deliver! Although, we understand how inconvenient it has been the fact that the Spectrum app is not available on the TV. Keep in mind that the app's availability and compatibility depends entirely on the developer and the devices they will provide support to, and Sony TVs are not included. It'd be a nice idea to let them know your thoughts also, so they can take a look into your request!

    It is a great tv except trying to set it up. It doesn’t work with my internet remote control l have to switch from air play every time I turn the tv on. I have tried everything to get it to come on when I use the cable remote. I can use my cable remote to watch tv afterwards but not when I first turn it on.

Make sure your Apple device and TV are connected to the same internet network. On your TV remote, press the Quick Settings or HOME button, go to Settings > System > Apple AirPlay & HomeKit > Apple AirPlay & HomeKit settings, and ensure AirPlay is turned on.

      Make sure your remote control software is up to date. You can do this by accessing the settings menu on your TV, selecting "Remotes & Accessories," and then "Remote control" or "Voice Remote Control" followed by "Software update. Perform a power reset of your TV. Unplug the TV power cord, wait about two minutes, and then plug it back in. This can often resolve temporary and intermittent issues.       We designed the BRAVIA 3 to have an incredible picture with features like dynamic contrast and vivid colors.

      For those times when the sun hits the screen, you might want to adjust the brightness and contrast settings in the picture menu. You can also try tilting the screen slightly.
