This basically replaces my cable box allowing me to save a little money, is fast, amazing picture, plenty of settings to test out. Remote is not backlit, small in my hand and I am purchasing a new option immediately.

Best tv for the money hands down

Why pay more for the new Sony bravia 8 mark ‼️ when you can get 2024 version for a lot cheaper ain't much of a difference between the two sets when you can tweak the setting to get the same type brightness of the newer 2025 Bravia.

Great TV just one issue

The picture if fantastic, it integrates easily with my surround sound system. Controls are easy to use. I use an OTA antenna and this unit has an excellent tuner and also gets the next gen channels very well. My one complaint is that when I watch OTA tv, this tv does not have the capacity to pause the program or to back up and review what just happened (instant replay). Many cheaper models do have that capacity and I was surprised that this tv didn't. But that did not keep me from buying the exact tv again so make what you want of that!

Sound and picture are awesome, I can recommended the product. The only thing is the price, it's not cheap.

An associate, Braeden, helped us choose the Bravia 8 TV after asking where the TV will be located, near windows, in a light or dark room etc. Our choice became clearer as we looked at other sets. Upon installation, all the research and guidance helped us purchase the correct TV for our room. Superior color, super thin unit, very easy setup, and the remote is user friendly. We are extremely happy!

He gave us several good reasons not least the fact that the Samsung has this remote interface box that apperarently is prone to failure. We loved the picture of the Sony in the store and although we werent sure how reflective the TV would be in our living space, we decided to take a chance and purchase the 65" Bravia 8. Once we got home, all parts were easily assembled and it was set up in no time. The picture is fantastic and we were impressed by the sound also. To our surprise, the glare is so much less than our previous TV. We love it and hope that we get many years of joy from it

A very good TV that just falls short of wowing!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the most expensive TV I’ve ever purchased and although that is partly a result of the size (65”) it is also a result of the brand (Sony) being higher priced overall. Compared to other TV’s I have owned/own (from the likes of Samsung, TCL and Panasonic) the picture is better. Better in terms of black levels and resolution. Some images remain grainy and this screen struggles with highly graduated shades of black/grey. Certain images can still exhibit pixelation. An issue that seems to be a result of flatscreen technology regardless of whether it’s LED, OLED or simply an “old-fashioned” LCD type screen. It’s not a bad TV but for what it costs it’s not the TV I would wholeheartedly recommend to someone who wants a home cinema set up as it will (with certain content) disappoint. It is, however, a cut above budget priced TV’s in regard to the set-up options and, if you are inclined to want to calibrate it, offers a suitable range of adjustments and some useful predefined options for finding a setup that is easy on the eye.

I use this to watch movies, stream and for PlayStation 5. Coming from previous Sony 4kLED TV, I was blown away by the quality. Nothing matches oled. I was surprised by the high quality speakers.

The blacks are deep and not washed out. The sound is amazing! You really won't need a soundbar or extra speakers with this. Highly recommend!
