It looks stellar in a dark room, thanks to its perfect black levels, vibrant colors, and great HDR brightness. The TV has modern gaming features, and combined with its excellent image quality, it's a solid choice for gamers. It has solid reflection handling, but it's only bright enough to overcome glare in a moderately lit room, and blacks look gray in a room with ambient lighting; you don't enjoy the same image quality when you flip your lights on. Fortunately, the TV has an incredibly wide viewing angle, making it an outstanding choice for a wide seating arrangement.

I can’t watch my own shows becuz my child blows up and has her temper tantrums when she can’t watch her shows with such great color and deep blacks. Such an amazing tv for a 15 month old baby….

I love this tv, The picture quality is amazing and the size is perfect for my space. I like the UI and the apps that I have available for download (Crunchyroll, Spotify, Viki, Plutotv, etc.) Only complaint is the default brightness, or lack thereof, but we've found a way to increase it. 10/10 TV

First one was bad.

First one kept shutting off, had to unplug and plug back in to get it to back turn on. Has nice picture quality. The Acoustic Surface Audio system is way better then speakers on the bottom of the TV. Sony must not have any pride in their product anymore, last TV had Sony light up in the glass frame. This one has a itty bitty sony on lower left corner, which is very difficult to see.

Love this TV

It also has incredibly good color and picture quality. The brightness is also very good. The LG C5 has a bit better brightness but the Sony picture quality seems to be better. I also like the Android TV OS. Its very nice and easy to use. I paid $1400 after tax for an excellent condition open-box and i have no regrets!

OLED is the best

I wanted to like the TV coming from 8 years of using LG OLED TVs. Picture quality was great, but the screen just did not get as bright as I would have liked. The 2 best qualities of this Sony model are the built-in speakers and the Google TV OS. The Google TV OS is so much better than LG WebOS. But in the end, I returned it for a LG C4 for an extra $50 as there was something wrong with the Sony panel. It had vertical lines down the screen on a black screen in SDR. OLED TVs are pitch black when nothing is on the screen. Was not the case with this one.

Near perfection

Based my decision on a few factors. One being it is a google OS. Second the stock sound quality. Third the overall picture quality. Once home and calibration was done. I quickly fell in love with everything about this TV. Massive improvement from the brand o had previously. I quickly decided to use it in another room. And buy a second one for the living room. Only the second is a Bravia 7 75 inch. As the Bravia 7 is a bit brighter for the room. Only thing I can say. Is if you have a bright room. It doesn't get very bright. Either way I am blown away by the overall quality and performance.

Where is remote control ever.

The remote control is super small super tiny extremely fragile and completely falls apart. Every time you drop it. Worst remote control I’ve ever had in 25 years. Last Sony TV I still have the remote and I use it now because the other remote is just a fragile piece of crap.

Playing older games there is a noticeable upgrade. It does randomly itself off and times and restart which is annoying. It happens at least a few times a week.

I knew OLED would be less bright, but I really wanted the blacks to look black. Horror movies, dark dramas, and space movies are amazing!
