    Overall, we have been pleased with this Sony 65" Bravia smart TV. The picture is very sharp, the colors are vivid and the unit itself is intuitive in navigation. The only issue we have had is the TV seemingly randomly turning off on 2 occasions. We don't believe this to be an inadvertant user error because both times we were in the middle of chosen programming. If it occurs again we will be contacting the store of pirchase.

      We're sorry to learn that you've been running into some issues. Your TV may turn on or off for a variety of reasons. To make sure your TV runs as smooth as possible, we highly recommend downloading and installing the latest software for the TV. If your TV turns on or off at regular intervals, such as 30 minutes to an hour, it's likely caused by power saving functions such as Idle TV Standby, On Timer, and Sleep Timer. Follow the steps from this link to disable Sleep timer, Idle TV standby, and Auto shut-off settings that may cause the TV to turn off automatically.

    This tv and my ps5 fell in love. I couldn’t keep them apart. Sound is not the best, most of us would use external sound anyway.

    This replaced another Sony Bravia that burned in the Eaton Fire. Great picture, good oblique angle viewing. Glad we spent the extra money for Sony quality.

    Love Sony TV's and this one does not disappoint. I had to adjust some pictures settings using some general calibrations but after that it looks amazing. I have no issues with the interface as it is just like my Chromecast. It is perfect for movies and tv.

    Finally upgraded my TV and got this one. Went into my local store to chat with someone about what I was looking for (better gaming experience) and this was the number one recommendation. Easy to set up and beautiful picture quality. I have surround sound so I cannot attest to sound quality of the TV.

    Great picture clarity and vivid color! We were able to mount it above our fireplace mantle and it can be swiveled to see in our dining/kitchen area and on our outside deck!! Love this!!

    STR DN 1070 Receiver K65XR80 Sony TV 4K Firestick I have the equipment above and want it to work the way it worked when I had a Samsung TV. The Sony TV is the new piece of equipment. The Firestick is plugged into the Game HDMI port on the receiver and the HDMI output of the receiver is plugged into HDMI 3 ARC input on the TV. I want the Firestick remote to control the TV, the receiver, and the Firestick. With the old Samsung TV when I pressed the power button on the Firestick remote the TV came on to the correct input on the receiver and the TV. With the new Sony TV when I press the power button on the Firestick remote the TV comes on but it defaults to HDMI 1. ( I have the TV setup to come on to the Last Input used but it does not seem to matter). I have the TV button on the Sony TV remote set for HDMI 3 so the TV changes to HDMI 3 when it is pressed. This puts me at the setup screen on the receiver where I have to select the Game input to use the Firestick. The Firestick then appears and can be used as log as the Home button on the Firestick remote is not pressed. At this point when I press the home button on the Firestick remote the TV switches to HDMI 1 and of course the Firestick does not work any longer. I have tried every combination of CEC control on the three devices and the best I have gotten is that the Firestick remote will power the TV on/off and control the volume on the receiver. Once again if I press the Home button on the Firestick remote the TV goes to HDMI 1. I have yet to get the TV to default to the HDMI 3 input using the Firestick remote. Any ideas would be appreciated as to how to setup the CEC controls on these three devices.

    Pretty darn good. The picture is just slightly better than Sony LED TVs of late, which is a good thing for the LED side of the business. Picture is sharp, but there are some artifacts here and there. That may be from my source material or it may be because I bought an open box. At this point I am unsure. But you really can't go wrong with Sony, period.

    I had an issue with the TV turning off by itself. Sony Customer service was able to remotely access my TV and correct the issue.

    Sony Bravia 8 has an amazing picture with no red color bleed over unlike our 14 year LCD Bravia. Lots of handy convenience features. Streaming features and selection choices as well as most other choices are near instantaneous. It's FAST with Gigs of ram memory on-board...
