    The Sony Bravia 8 has a beautiful picture and wonderful sound. The picture is bright, clear and rich and doesn't have the glare that our 8 year old Samsung had. The sound is vibrant and a sound bar isn't necessary. The sound can be configured to the user during setup up using the remote control. We were also looking at the Samsung S90D and the LG C4. Because we don't have cable TV and only stream YouTube, Netflix, Disney, etc, we wanted a smart platform that was streamlined and easy to use. Sony's Google TV platform is easy to navigate and we don't need Roku anymore! We love our new Sony Bravia 8.

    I purchased a Sony 65" Bravia 8 OLED UHD Smart Google TV (2024) in July 2024 after reading extensive reviews of other manufacturers reviews and speaking with Best Buy customer service in store. I purchased this TV soon after it first became available. I owned Samsung and Sony TVs prior to this purchase. I still own a Samsung and Sony TV. Both have provided reliable service for years. I settled with this TV after seeing it on display and comparing with other TVs displayed at Best Buy. I compared Sony with similar Samsung and LG TVs. The reviews and comparisons I read provided customer issues with the reliability of current similar Samsung TVs. Reliability was also brought up by the Best Buy representatives during three visits to the store. I do use the sound from the TV as the AVR to provide sound. Pros: 1. Clarity in viewing with vivid colors. 2. Great viewing at night with no other lights on. 3. Black and dark colors are impressive. 4. Ease of use of remote and programming. Cons: 1. Not good in a highly lighted space due to screen reflection of room lighting. 2. Pricy

With regards to the experience in highly lighted space, you can adjust the picture settings. This will allow a wide array of color, contrast, motion settings, and brightness changes that can improve the viewed content on your TV.     When I got this, Tv was a little reluctant sign in between Samsung and LG because on the floor room they did look a little bit brighter however I haven’t had a Sony that is still going after 18 years and much research. I realize the bill quality is incredible. I bought this brought it home. I have it in the bedroom and it’s a matter of fact I have to bring down the brightness depending on the movie because it is too bright for my eyes image quality. It’s great. It is so good. I have taken a video off the TV. Send it to someone and they thought it was real Additionally, the sound it’s incredible. The operating system from chrome it’s great seamless to use not clunky like Samsung and LG.

    This tv was a big upgrade from what I had I ended up putting it in my bedroom because I loved it so much from the video quality to the sound quality you really can’t go wrong with a Bravia!

    An excellent tv. Although there are multiple reviews that show others tv are good in terms of pure specifications, when you see them side by side the picture quality and the way Sony's image engine works is absolutely stunning. It's not the brightest or the one with the best contrast but I would choose watching my favourite movies on this TV anyday. The Google OS is icing on the cake and is smooth. The sound quality is Amazing although I would like to setup a soundbar for more stunning audio. The TV itself looks sleek and stylish. I would recommend anyone to get this TV for pure movie and content watching experience.

    Bought 65 inch Sony Bravia 8. Spectacular picture quality. While Samsung is also beautiful, nothing in MHO beats Sony..... Love it. Set up was super easy.... Remote is fine too don't understand complaints. Also bought 43 inch Bravia 4. Just as awesome. Totally recommend product..... 5 out 5 stars. Delivery.... Sorry not even 1 star. Guys didn't even have shoe covers one refused to take shoes off. Other failures to contract too but whatever. Shouldn't reflect on Sony product. Just beautiful....

    I love my new TV. I have a 55 inch Sony Bravia. I wanted a 65 inch one and one that has 120 hertz over just the 60 hertz that I already own. I recently purchased a PS5 Pro and it’s a game changer playing games on a TV with that capability. It’s also my first OLED TV. It has an amazing picture quality. I can’t say about the sound because I have a great soundbar and woofer that I use. The colors and the capacity to show up black show up wonderfully. I would definitely recommend this television especially for owners of the new PS5 Pro.

    Sony has always made a quality TV and they continue to prove it with this model. I sold Sony back in 1995 in a retail store and they were strong then. Value a great all around Big Screen

    Amazing! I'm blown away at the screen quality. This is my second Sony and first 65 inch and OLED! Never going back. Holy moly this makes watching tv series and movies fun. I have it connected to my Sonos so can't speak of the speaker quality on the tv. My previous Sony tv speakers were lacking hence the Sonos. TV remote is a little smaller than previous but everything still feels natural as does the home screen. I did the $199 delivery and thought my guys were great but felt this is overpriced after the service was complete. $99 makes more sense.
