In my opinion the extra cost of the 900 and up series televisions is not justified by the slight performance increase in black levels/contrast

I've always been skeptical of Sony TVs because I felt they were over priced and the ones I had seen were nothing special. But this TV was a great price and had really good reviews so I gave it a shot. It was a great decision. The picture out of the box was superb, and only needed a few adjustments. The black levels are solid, and not grayish. Compare this to a mid-level LG that I purchased & returned before buying the Sony; picture out of the box was horrid and required hours to get right (failed in the end) and really bad black levels. The picture is comparable to much more expensive TVs, in my opinion, and is far more affordable than a lot of TVs on the market. This is a true 4K TV and movies look amazing, and unlike other TVs there is no issue with dark scenes. The sound isn't great, but that is easily fixed with a sound bar or sound system (I have a 6 speaker Sony surround system, which syncs up well with the TV; one remote needed). The user interface is a bit busy, but you can customize and remove a lot of the unnecessary items. There is a slight lag on the remote and takes a good second to register when you press a button. But these are minor issues overall. I would definitely recommend this TV, especially if you can get at the Black Friday price ($300 off).

Exceptional, smooth interface and smooth, smart movement between various input sources. It basically reads my mind. This TV is awesome!

Love the Sony Telivisions! This one is absolutely an amazing and stunning picture when you are able to watch it in its true 4K UHD! We love it.

Will buy another but the 85" next. Great quality, and got a great deal from Best Buy. Recommended to my family and friends, too.

I had to replace 2012 Samsung plasma 60” cuz power button no longer worked. Loving this Sony TV 65” at this time. Good replacement!

This TV is a big upgrade from my 40" Samsung. This is android based and will sometimes need updates which will occasionally freeze up. This TV is probably outdated now.

So this TV has a great picture but this is my second one. The first went out and had issues with the power supply and screen.

We always choose Sony televisions because the color is close to real. This product never failed us, but I wish we got the bigger one.

Sales rep at the store we went know knew everything about the TV and was able to steer us in the right direction based on our needs.

I have had several tv's - Magnavox, Samsung, Vizio, Sony. The Sony has been the best tv of all! Cant go wrong with Sony!!

First we bought sony 60 inches TV we have not satisfied so we returned it and got this excellent TV. We are very happy for our choice

This tv replaced an earlier 4k version and I like it much more with the Android operating system vs the previous Sony system.

Bought this tv over a week war ago and I’ve had no problems with it. Resolution is sharp and it connects easily to internet.

Perfect!!! Replaced a Samsung that lasted 4 years. Cost is higher than other brands in the same category, but no comparison in quality.

I do save a lot of time I just put in the app what I want to Lester or play with out any interruptions

We looked at different brands, what we originally wanted was not available. The SONY was available and we do not regret buying this TV.

It's like having a movie screen for a television. The sound could use improvement.
