I bought the 65X850E right before the holidays. I was blown away by the picture quality on the X850E. Sure, you can argue that the picture is not as great as the X900E or even an OLED / QLED, but if you're simply upgrading from a 1080P display, then a 4K HDR like the 65X850E provides a spectacular jump that's also easy on your wallet.

I was excited to finally have the opportunity to purchase the Sony 4k TV I wanted. My sony 65x850e was non operational 3 months from the purchase date. I did not purchase the extended warranty because I truly believed that Sony products were the best. I found out different. Sony customer service is absolutely horrible. While streaming on my Sony the screen went to a constant green/ white bar screen which would not go away with a hard reset. Sony wanted to give me a certified reconditioned television. This was not acceptable to me as I spent $1500 for this TV and I could get a reconditioned model for $800 online. The android system is so slow. The lag between the remote and the television is sometimes more than 30 seconds. The only plus would be the picture quality. It has vivid colors and the 4k content looks unbelievable. I am worried that this Television will fry right after the warranty expires. not a good feeling to have.

This tv is awesome. Definitely one of the best investment I've ever made. The picture is super clear. If you are shopping for a new tv......I recommend checking this one out.

Had to replace a sharp that was only a few years old. This tv is amazing. Great picture and you can customize the picture with multi presets or do your own. Beautiful picture

This replaced a 58" Panasonic plasma. Loved that T.V. I am disappointed in the viewing angle, it's very narrow. Yes, you can see it ok sitting to the side of the screen but it looses a lot of the color, like it's toned down. So far no problems. I watched several 4K movies I bought, WOW was the first thing out of my mouth. If you run this through a receiver, make sure you use the 4K out port. My Sony has both. Wrong port and it wont matter the source, it will show in 1080. Great 1080 mind you but still 1080. Buy an Xbox-S, makes a great 4K Blu-Ray player and cheaper than the DVD player by itself. ENJOY

My new 65 inch Sony has been a delightful addition to my home. The colors are rich and deep with a smooth flowing picture.

The TV is exactly what I wanted. Picture has such vivid colors and the sound quality is better than expected. There is one thing however, I find the remote control has a lag, delayed reaction which slows up the channel changing process.

This TV is both beautiful and has so many awesome features. We are so excited to be able to stream Amazon Prime, Netflix and more. Great TV with a crystal clear picture.

I purchased this TV about 3 weeks ago, and it has performed very well. The clarity of the picture is great, the colors true. I would recommend this Sony TV to anyone.

Color quality is great. Not the biggest fan of the Android/google software system, it is a little slow, but over all works great. The picture quality is the best thing.

Great sales team who helped us select this tv. They were very patient and knowlegeable. The TV was easy to hook up and has a great picture. We are very happy with it.

It has a beautiful pic, is super thin, and has a great look to it. Not a huge fan of the stand but there is nothing wrong with it, just not my fav design.

We have this version and the model before. The picture quality is superb and have not had any problems with either I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

This Smart TV has a great picture, decent speakers and lots of extras including netflix and google play buttons on the remote. We are very happy with this purchase.

There's so much difference compared to the "old regular " HD TV. We love the smart TV. I would recommend this TV to anyone. Only con I have is it's a little pricey.

The 65" TV was easy to unpack and assemble the base if you take your time as you have to handle it very carefully. A minimum of 2 people is required to safely do this, don't try this at home by yourself LoL. My main problem was that the hookups were on the left side and all my components/power sources were on the right. I'll solve this later with a better TV stand set up. Hooking up components is straight forward and easy with instructions that were clear and easy to follow. Once powered up get settled in for the programming and updates after connecting to Wifi. All together I was up and running in about an hour and a half, just be patient. After that I had a little trouble connecting my LG sound bar via Bluetooth but soon had the problem resolved. Another great feature is being able to mirror my Samsung phone and tablet to the TV with ease. Even though this is not one of the upper level TV's it still has amazing picture quality and was a great find while on sale $400 less than the listed price. Sound quality is surprisingly good for the small speakers. 65" eventhough large is not too over bearing even in a small room. You can find larger for less money but what you save in cash you will give up in features. Always compare the TVs you are interested in to find the best deal for you like I did. I would have loved to have gone larger but my current room set up wouldn't handle it. You won't be disappointed with this Sony.

Replaced a 7 year old 67" HD TV with this 4K model. Really pleased with the quality of the picture even on normal broadcasts. Easy to set-up - works perfect!
