||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Sony 850E after extensive research on smart tvs. I had narrowed it down to the Sony 850E, Sony 900E and the Samsung 8000. The only difference really was price. After Best Buy did a price match (from Amazon) I bought the 850E and could not be happier. The 4K is everything as expected, and the auto upscaling from non-4K images is far superior to any other brand. Very Happy.

This TV does great with colorful shows as well as darker shows like GOT, and Stranger Things. Overall everything is great and love the features of the smart tv.

Quality Build, Few Shortcomings

Android TV could be a little more fluid, don't know how much of that you can put on Sony. Viewing angle drops off drastically towards the sides, not ideal for a TV this big typically placed in a living room for all to see. Other than that everything runs great and colors are as vibrant as you can ask for on an LCD.

Great TV at a Great Price

Blacks were darker and color seemed more vibrant on this TV than on a comparable Samsung. I’m satisfied with the out of the box picture quality; no calibrations have been done.
