this is our second sony tv that we have bought in the last 3 years our other sony is a 55 inch and we love it when the tv in master bedroom died took the 55 inch to that room and got the 65 inch for our main tv very easy to set up and great picture

Looks fantastic on my wall and up scales my regular HD movies to insanely great quality. 4k ultra content is breathtaking, blacks are very deep and colors are super vibrant. I wish my eyes could see real life the way its shown on this television.

Easy set up, color very bright, nice unit for the sale price, found the audio portion could be better, not as loud as my previous Samsung unit.

4.5 / 5 stars. Talk about a crisp picture! This TV is awesome and super easy to set up. The picture quality is amazing. I only have 2 drawbacks and theyre worth noting 1. Once in a while the tv wont start up with the remote or by manually pressing the power button on the tv itself. It needs to be unplugged for about a minute, and then plugged back in...then it works fine. Its almost as though it needs to power cycle or something. Kind of an inconvenience. 2. This one is more serious. It has a very finite amount of hard drive space. When trying to update apps like netflix, it tells me that there is insufficient space. I've even uninstalled all the superfluous software/bloatware and plugged in a 128gb flashdrive. Still doesnt work. This prevents you from updating your software or even installing new ones (hulu, espn, etc). Good thing you can access those through a firestick/chromecast, otherwise this would be a HUGE inconvenience. if these problems could get fixed, then i'd give 5/5 stars. but until then, i have to be honest about it. overall very satisfied with the tv, but as i said before, these are 2 big drawbacks.

Have used Sony in past. Never had any problem, My reason for buying this TV.

I looked at TVs for months. I settled on this model because the 900E had a lot of problem reviews at the Sony site. I know the 900E is supposed to have a little better picture than the 850E (and was only $400 more at the time of my purchase), but I'm hoping the 850E has fewer problems in the future. We'll see. So far it's great, but you have to remember you only get 4K greatness if you have a 4K broadcast signal. Otherwise you are just upscaling the cable broadcast, which this TV does well. My last Sony lasted 9 years. There are too many problem reviews out there for me to believe this will last that long. Isn't it sad how TVs offer such great pictures today, but last a fraction of what they used to. My old Toshiba lasted 25 years!! If I am allowed to update this review, I will do so after 6 months and report if anything has changed.

The best tv money can buy. Google play store is like have a 65 in cellphone

If you’re looking to invest into an excellent 4K tv with HDR but don’t want to break the bank, this is the tv for you. Got it for a little over a grand but it’s a tv that will not be completely outdated a year from now and has amazing visuals!

Really like this TV. Great picture quality. Sounds was ok, but I opted for a 3 speaker sound bar setup with a subwoofer to provide the sound I wanted. Very pleased with the purchase and the price. Premier League soccer looks even better this season.

Went with a Vizio M series 65 inch and after it glitches multiple times in the first week decided to pay the difference for the 850 series Sony and it was worth every penny. Everyone that sees it says the picture is amazing and the t.v. lines are sleek

Picture quality is amazing, can't find anything to complain about there. The remote is great with only one minor gripe: I wish the thumb pad area had a little space or divider between the buttons that surround it. Installed applications work very well.

This TV is so clear and vivid colores . Fits very nice in the family room.
