I read the reviews but still was impressed by this TV. It's great right out of the box. Upscaling is great .The sound is also pretty good even without a sound bar. I've had smart TVs before but this is the smartest.

First new big screen in 19 years. Very much enjoying it

I was ready to replace my previous TV, also a Sony, which is still working in perfect condition. I wanted to take advantage of newer features, specially HDR and this one delivers. You can't go wrong with Sony!

Bought this TV on the recommendation of a sales guy. Picture is good, even though I can't get streaming to work at 60 Hz. Problem is that the remote only controls Sony products. I have a Denon receiver, so the work around is an "IR Blaster" that comes with this TV for the purpose of allowing the user to use a single remote to control other components. Though the TV's software recognizes my Denon audio receiver, it does not work. Sony literally said, "Sorry. How else can I help you." Not my responsibility to spend money on a workaround, so I'm returning the TV.

We had a hard time at the store picking the best tv but it was worth the hour and a half. The picture is wonderful and we bought a Sony sound bar with the tv which makes it way better! It was worth the money.

Bought this for my main living area along with a 55 inch for my gameroom. Love them both! Awesome picture. When you add a 4k ready audio receiver and 2.0 HDMI CABLES to the sound and picture become even better.

Everything is more fun on this thing, but especially sports and movies. It's hard to go back to the other TV in the bedroom. The picture is bright and clear. With the 4K, you see everything.

This TV is excellent. Easy to set up. Picture quality is amazing, worth the extra money. The 120 refresh rate is great for live sports. Android system is easy and fast. Built in chrome cast is a plus as well.

I have always been a fan of Sony TV's. This one in no exception. The TV provides a high-quality picture and sound at an affordable price. I have always been one to find a great picture without breaking the budget.

Upgraded from my 60 inch Sharp Aquos and this tv is perfect. Beautiful picture with HDR without breaking the bank. All 4 hmdi ports can receive 4K signals.

So far very happy with this TV - great picture quality, although no chance yet to try out 4K. Main reason for buying this set was the extensive I/O vs some of the Korean brands. Also, OLED is still pricey. No issues with SW upgrades that I did read about in reviews. So far, so good - everything I expected.
