This TV has surpassed my older tv and the colors and blacks are extremely clear. Ease of use is nice also

Bought a new house and wanted a good quality tv in living room. The picture is really sharp and beautiful color. The sound is great also. My husband loves sporting events. This tv is spectacular for sporting events. I am very pleased with purchase. I am getting so many comments and compliments from friends and family when they come over and see the new Sony I have! Thanks Best Buy for the great quality tv and good purchase price. I appreciate it!!

While visiting the Best Buy store I talked in length with Shaun Law, a store employee in the television department. I went into the store ready to purchase a curved screen Samsung 65" TV which was on sale at the time. After Shaun showing me some very revealing details and the many differences in the different levels of television technology I changed my mind and purchased this Sony Model. It was also on sale at the time. It cost more than I originally intended on spending but after having all the details and being shown the differences I felt this to be the best buy at the time. I am still satisfied with this selection after approximately 3 weeks. Thanks Shaun for your help in this purchase. Now for the negitve issues. I use Direct TV and love their program menu. I could never get the Sony remote to operate the Direct TV menu correctly. I tried calling the Best Buy store and they directed me to the Geek Squad. They were not able to set it up and recommented I pay another $150.00 in home set up fee which I quickly declined. I then called the Sony technical team and alowed them access through the modem to help set it up and that too was a failure. They basically told me that I would need to use the Direct TV remote to access the Direct TV menu and all it's features and if I wanted to use the voice activation feature and the Goggle and Netflix Quick Access buttons on the Sony remote I would have to use the Sony remote. Not the best set up for sure. Guess I'll duct tape both remoted together so they will always have all the options available.

Excellent picture quality. Relatively easy setup. Upgradable firmware is a BIG plus. Lots of apps too.

I debated on this tv and a Samsung. After reviewing both I decided to stay with Sony as I have already a 6 yr old Bravia that has been wonderful. It was very easy to set up, the remote is very simple and nice. It turns on and off fast. You need to tone down the colors right away as they are so bright. I will get it calibrated in a few months to make more beautiful. Sony just never has let me down on any thing I have ever bought from them.

I was in need of a new television, and I bought the Sony - 65" Class (64.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV. I was having trouble deciding on this one or another one that cost another $1000, but in the end picked this one. This was a great choice. It works great, and it is the best picture I have ever seen in a television, so Thank you!

Tv picture looks great. We replaced a plasma which is hard to beat. But so far very happy with the purchase. Everything was easy to set up. Love all the apps that come with the tv. Easy to use. Motion blur is seen a little with cable channels. Don't notice it on 4k streaming or 4k dvd.

Picture is great, the features are awesome and there is so much at your finger tips for one device.

Having tried other systems, ROKU, Dragon Box, and a Samsung Smart TV...the Sony internet platform WAY out performs!!! Such clarity and the 4K streaming was surprisingly smooth, with no buffering. Setup was easy with many Apps. Very user friendly. The local TV stations are excellent.

My 65 Sony tv has a great picture.. you will feel like your at the movies......color is amazing..

this is actually my first HDTV 4k. I had an projection TV for a long time, waiting for it to bite the dust. I reviewed several TVs and decided on the Sony Brava. The picture is as sharp and crisp as a HDTV should be. What impressed me is the sound. It sounds great. I also like the fact I'm able to hook up my game ,my DVD player, it also had room to plug in another component. I highly recommend the Sony Brava HDTV.

The color, contrast is amazing. Vivid, bright colors. Great picture! Dark scenes don't appear nearly as dark as was with other TVs. Very easy to set up and use. Great integration with Google TV apps. Much better than prior generations of Sony 4K TVs. I highly Recommend this TV.

Delighted with this purchase that did not break the bank and delivered everything we were looking for. Great for viewing everything from our own travel photos to 4K movies. Transition from dumb TV dumb operator to smart TV and a fairly savvy computer literate senior was not too difficult. Just remember if you are making that transition, it is a computer with a big screen more than it is a TV and you will do well.

This is a great to but the wifi experience has been iffy at best when watching high quality content. My internet speed is sufficient at 100mb down but for some reason the to stutters at times. I expected more. Other than this issue the TV has a great picture when watching connected content. Consider connecting this TV to an Ethernet connection for the best picture when watching online content.

This tv has a great picture and all the features we were looking for with the right price.

I have been using my x850e for about a month now. I have found the picture quality to be pretty good. Viewing it straight on is excellent. viewing from about a 10 degree angle off center you can see a loss of picture quality. In other words, the viewing angle is poor which is typical of a VA screen. I also notice a sort of curtain effect or vertical shadow when viewing off angle. The Android system is pretty good; i like being able to access Google Play just like I would with a smart phone or tablet. The Android OS is responsive most of the time, but sometimes is slow to respond. One recommendation to Sony is to make a favorite app list on the Home screen so it is easier to access the apps I use. The optical audio output is great; it allows full passthrough of Dolby DTS to my Sony 7.1 receiver. This is much better than Samsung which makes you select the output type and is no a direct passthrough. It is also very thin and light, which I like very much! Overall it is a great tv. I tried a Samsung 6000 series, and much prefer this one.
