Worlds are not enough to describe how amazing this TV is. I changed from a Samsung Q9F as I was having a lot of problems with it. I looked at all the OLED TVs. The Sony A9F had the most amazing picture, color and contrast. The sound of the TV is great but I Have a Bose SoundTouch Sound bar so I prefer to use it. The only think I wish Sony made was another stand option to allow for the utilization of a sound bar but the problem can be fixed with a simpler Amazon search. Really satisfied by this TV. Don’t look anywhere else.

Absolutely stunning picture quality. Was deciding between this and the LG C8 OLED and so glad that I went with this new Sony model. They somehow took LGs OLED screen and made them better then LG!

I'm writing this review more than three years after I've received and been using, nay, enjoying the TV. I don't know what good this will do considering Sony is always generating the latest and greatest and chances of ordering this same TV must dwindle the longer time passes. I'll cut to it: the TV has been amazing. Updates have been unintrusive, I've had minimal issues with the TV in this time and the issues I have had have been cleared up with simple troubleshooting tactics ("did you unplug it and plug it back in? Did you turn it off and turn it back on?"). Picture and sound are amazing. And I'm not just saying that because I couldn't afford the soundbar; our house's acoustics coupled with the angled rear speakers have been wonderful and gaming on the TV has brought joy to my heart. I use a PS4 and PS5 on the system. We've even hooked up my wife's Nintendo Switch. All movies and even some series shows have brought tears to my eyes both due to the story and the amazing picture. I promise I'm not being paid to write this. You couldn't pay me to write it. But, Sony, if you're listening, you've done a great job with this TV and now that I think of it, more tears are welling up because I don't get to watch any content on any of your newer product. And while I have had insurance on the TV, nothing has... Wait. I'm not going to jinx this.

We purchased the A9F about two weeks ago. I can state without any hesitation that by far it the best TV money can buy. We were concerned if we needed a sound bar as we have a Sony. But the sound from the A9F is unreal. We didn't install the sound bar. No need. But the picture is out of this world! Every night we remark 2-3 times "Can you believe the quality of this picture?" If you want the best buy the Sony A9F. Don't hesitate. You'll love it.

I've purchased several high-end TV's over the years and this is simply the best TV I've ever owned. Picture quality is suburb, sound is really solid too (even without speaker system). Setup is straight forward and relatively intuitive (as with any new technology, there's a bit of a learning/familiarity curve). Easily integrates with a Sony Blu-ray, AppleTV, and of course my set-top box. Took a little time but wall mount and in-wall cable management system creates extremely clean look, especially for such a large TV. Researched A LOT of high-end TV's and could not be happier with my purchase.

This is a great TV don't get me wrong. I knew coming in it was using the same oled panels as LG on their c8 and b8 tvs and performance wise they are practically equal with slightly better tuning on sonys customization. One of the biggest selling points to me is that Sony tvs did not have ads on its platform, whereas LG had unremovable and large advertisements littered all over their home screens. But now suddenly, "sponsored content" rows have started showing up on the a9f as well. I didn't pay 4500 for a TV to be shown ads. Next time I'll just pick the cheaper option if they're going to shove unwanted content in my face.
