A: OLEDs have an inherent risk of burn-ins, I am a gamer myself you just have to be conscious and switch games and outputs. I.e. no Battlefield for the entire day... as long as you switch games and watch a bit of tv you are fine. If you are really worried about burn-ins go with the Z9F it is almost an identical picture quality but with an LCD so burn in free worry. Hope this helps...
A: A9F by a landslide. Google the Value Electronics 2018 TV Shootout results. They also have a FB page. You can see the report cards side-by-side. A9F won in every category against all of the best TVs from all of the best TV manufacturers. Movies are perfect!!! Gaming input lag is below 30 milliseconds which is nearly as good as it gets.

A: If she watches that on a daily basis for hours on end you will run the risk of burn in.
Q: Can Ultimate A9 chip inside Sony OLED TV worn down?
A: I believe that it is just a processing chip and would have the same characteristics and longevity as your computer cpu chip, Nothing to worry about burning out in the next decade or so unlike the LEDs on other TVs. If that chip is defective, it will manifest itself very early in your use and then be covered under warranty. It is not something to stress out about and decide not to buy the BEST color TV currently on the market.
Q: I had the A8F delivered great picture but kinda dark... Should I switch to the A9F?
A: I wouldn't! I have both and I think they are both beautiful TV's if you want brighter go with the Z9F which is a great TV as well!
A: Hunter you cannot adjust the sand. What I did to keep it vertical and keep my sound bar is I bought a universal mounting stand from Amazon and mounted the TV on it using the Versa. Looks pretty good. And go to a store that has the A9 and A8 the A9 wins by a big difference.
