    Worst TV I have ever owned. TV lasted 1.5 months and then became bricked. Totally frozen and will not reset. Now I have to deal with hauling this garbage back. Sony quality has gone way down. I always loved Sony but not anymore. Check the reviews. You will find the same problems.

    Backlight completely failed 2 Years to the day.

    Unit lasted 2 years TO DAY and led backlighting went out. Searching online reveals this problem is alarmingly common. Avoiding Sony LED TVs for the next coupon purchases until I hear otherwise.

    Expected better from a Sony product

    Unit is defective as hell , apps shut down while in use and also this unit doesn’t stay turned off . When you hit the power button it goes off for 10 seconds or less And comes right back on . Only way to have it off is to unplug it from the surge protector

When the Sling TV app is installed and running, it may wake the TV from standby mode. This happens regardless of whether the app is running in the foreground or background. End the Sling TV app completely, then turn off the TV. You can use any of the methods below to end the Sling TV app.

      Method 1: Press and hold the POWER button on the remote control to restart the TV.
      Method 2: Temporarily unplug and plug the power cord of the TV and restart the TV.
      Method 3: Force stop the Sling TV app from the settings screen.

      On the supplied IR remote control, press the HOME button.
      Under the Settings category, select Settings.
      Under the TV category, select Apps.
      Under the Downloaded apps category, select Sling Television.
      Select Force stop.
      Select OK.

    This Tv gives me constant issues! One of the more consistent issues is that is won't turn on either by the remote or the switch on the TV. Other times it will turn itself ON for no reason. Very disappointed in this purchase

    Horrible TV... I've had it for one year... and nothing but issues. Apps don't work, constantly lagging. Sony was once a brand you could trust, now it's junk... buy a cheap TV and just replace when it dies.

    After a year, no sound

    Tv worked great for a little over a year. We got past the one year warranty and the hdmi ports stopped producing sound. Very disappointing. We thought we were getting a quality Sony product.
