Great Picture while it worked

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought this tv a little over a month ago it was great until a few days ago when i turned it on and had no sound but still had a picture. thought maybe it was my direct tv receiver so i checked nexflix would not load same with amazon prime. it did play sound from my 4k player but it was broken up. I thought that i might have a bad hdmi cable so i changed it for a known good one now i have no picture. Not very happy for a $1,500 dollar purchase. Still waiting to talk to the geek squad to see what can be done.

There are some software-related issues that can be resolved by simply updating the firmware of the TV. The firmware update also improves the general performance of the TV and includes new features. The picture quality may also depend on its source. We always recommend playing high-quality content for the best viewing and watching experience. My new Sony

We had a few issues in the beginning, however, it seemed it was lack of knowledge on our part. I wish it was more Apple compatible but we seem to get through this small dilemma .

Audio problems

Ever since the installation there has been an issue with an audio delay. This is not an a/v sync issue. Every time channels are changed there is about a three second audio delay after the video comes on. VERY IRRITATING after spending this kind of money. I know this is a tv issue because when I hook up a Roku the delay does not occur. The tv is connected via EARC to a Sony STRDH 790 receiver. Have spent about an hour with Sony online technician who could not resolve the issue, of course, because the issue is inherent to the tv. If anyone has a fix for this please let me know.

Good so far hope it holds up longer than the last

Overall the TV is good so far. I chose another Sony for the google play store and apps I prefer.
