Q: Does this tv have HDMI 2.1 or not? Iam confuse acoording the answers this chat provide!
A: No it does not have 2.1 hardware and unfortunately, the processor does not support 2.1 either. Best you will get is 2.0b which is still capable of 4k @ 60hz. Of you are looking for 2.1 then go with the x900h as that tv does have 2.1 hardware and that processor does support 4k @ 120hz.
Q: Can the legs on a Sony 65 inch be adjusted to more on the inside and not on the outer edges?
A: Hi Titangirl, thank you for inquiring about the XBR65X950H. Yes, you can adjust the position of the legs in both narrow and wide position. Regards, Erin
A: Mine does the same thing. To clear it unplug the tv for a minute and then turn it back on, it should go away. I turned my google assistant off for this reason. Why Sony does irritating things like this is a mystery.
Q: I’ve looked at the specs, this tv is only 120 hz not 240?
A: It's advertised as a 120hz
Q: Just got my TV today, is it normal to hear a "click" every time you turn the tv on or off?
A: We've had ours for about a month now and really love it. It does click when you turn it on or off so I think that's normal. This is the first TV we've brought home and loved it the minute we set it up.
Q: Can I use any VESA mount with this TV or do I have to use the one Sony recommends?
A: Hi Tyler, We highly recommend using the Sony SU-WL855 wall-mount bracket for XBR-65X950H. You can also use any VESA compliant wall-mount with a hole pattern of 300x300 mm for this TV. I hope this helps. Thanks! -Vincent
Q: It was my understanding you could use Alexa as well as google.
A: Hi Sharon, Yes. This TV supports both Alexa and Google Home. Thanks! -Vincent
A: Yap, I called Sony about that. They said it was designed that way. People that put the TV on a low profile stand need it to tilt up when viewed from a chair. Weird! I told them they should have given us two sets of stands or and option to replace it with a flat stand that would keep the TV straight. To fix it I places a couple of quarters under each back leg.
