Yap, I called Sony about that. They said it was designed that way. People that put the TV on a low profile stand need it to tilt up when viewed from a chair. Weird! I told them they should have given us two sets of stands or and option to replace it with a flat stand that would keep the TV straight. To fix it I places a couple of quarters under each back leg.

Your line of sight when sitting is 15 degrees lower than when you're in a usual relaxed state. It's considered ergonomically to set your TV at a lower position and tilted back by a couple of degrees. This way, you'll be able to enjoy watching TV programs comfortably. Thank you. ~Earl
