It says 120 MHz refresh rate, but I don't believe it. It is not fluid enough, even if you move the motion flo all the way up, if you do it pixelizes and stutters. The screen is well lit except the corners show a little shadow. The screen does not fit the frame well. ( top right corner has a 1/8 in gap to frame)

Horrible Television and operating system

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I traded an LG for this higher priced Sony thinking I was upgrading to a better set but boy, was I mistaken.This is the absolute worst television set I've ever owned. It is very difficult to figure out how to control the set and functions using the inferior remote and Android pretty much sucks to try to navigate. The Xumo channels don't work when installed and I regret buying this brand and model. This has caused so much trouble enjoying simple tv viewing that now I'm going to sell my TV and sounder and get rid of my "smart" tv and cell phone and go to a regular tv and flip phone. I'm even thinking of doing away with wifi in the home because of the performance of Android and Sony. I'd pass in a New York second on this television brand and set.

Was great until Sony released a firmware update

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the X950H from Best Buy mid 2020 and the first 5 or so months were pretty nice. I don't recall ever having to reboot it or having any general issues of any kind. Then December came around and Sony pushed out a firmware update that functionally didn't appear to do anything other than add the Apple TV app. About a day after the update I noticed I had no audio. It just quit working. Internal speakers, bluetooth, etc... nada. Rebooted and audio started working again. This has been happening about once a week since the update. A couple days later I also noticed I apps like Netflix and Disney+ would refuse to play streams. They'd issue cryptic messages related to unable to play or just flat out stall loading at 5% or 25%. A reboot fixes this issue too. I am not alone. A quick google search revealed many others are having these exact same issue. It looks like Sony has even acknowledged these errors, at least for the 900 model. I only hope their acknowledgement includes the 950H and a fix is being worked on. I'll be taking this up with Geek squad next as I did purchase the $200 protection plan. Not happy, Sony!

We are sorry to hear that you are having audio issues and issues with the applications buffering on the TV following a software update. We'd love to troubleshoot the issue and make this a better experience for you. In the meantime, please try these steps to troubleshoot the issues.
First perform a soft reboot by holding down the power button on the remote while the TV is on. Reset the TV when prompted.
For the audio issues with the TV, please try these steps
1. If you are using the TV built-in speaker, make sure the sound output is set to TV speakers and not Audio system
Press the (Quick Settings) or ACTION MENU button, then select [Speakers] — [TV speakers].
Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — [Speakers] — [TV speakers].
2. Check the volume control.
3. Press MUTING or MUTE or VOL or (Volume) + button to cancel muting.
4. If headphones or Bluetooth audio devices are connected, sound is not output from the TV speakers or audio system connected via eARC/ARC. Remove the headphones or disconnect the Bluetooth audio device.

For the TV apps buffering, check if the issue occurs when viewing content from other online video services.

- Reset the router and/or cable modem and then try again. Unplug the power cord for your modem and/or router for about one minute. Plug the power cord back in and wait until the flashing lights indicate that the modem and/or router has completely restarted.
Check your internet connection speed to ensure it meets or exceeds the recommendations:
Recommended for SD quality - 3.0 Megabits per second
Recommended for HD quality - 5.0 Megabits per second
Recommended for Ultra HD quality - 25 Megabits per second
Notes
Your streaming service provider can provide specific recommendations for their service.
-If your internet speed does not meet the recommendations, contact your internet provider for help.
-Perform a power reset of your streaming device.
-Unplug the power cord of your device for about one minute, then plug it back in, turn it on, and try again.
