Damage out of the box

I unboxed it today because I was waiting for the surround sound to be hooked up at the same time. Turned the tv on and internal screen is crack. No damage to the box or anything. Zero help from Best Buy and zero help from Sony. I even bought a protection plan through Sony & apparently this isn't covered.
