Great price and easy setup

This receiver replaced an old Denon that was left behind by the previous homeowner in the home theater room. You needed a PHD to figure out how to use it and even then it didn't work. This was literally "plug and play". The setup couldn't have been easier, and the on screen menu makes setup and adjustments to the system a breeze. I would highly recommend to anyone, and it is very reasonably priced.

worked intermittenly…then quit..

I purchased this received and set it up and it worked good for approximately 3-months. I called Sony, and they had me send in the unit for repair, which I did. The unit was returned back to me 2-weeks later. After another 2-months the sound on the unit wouldn’t work at all (no bluetooth, no sound from radio or TV). I once again sent out the unit for repair and the repair shop (United Radio) couldn’t find anything wrong with it. After complaining to the repair shop about something definitely being wrong with the unit, they spoke with Sony who told them to send them (Sony) the unit back. After trying to contact Sony on multiple occasions, I was finally able to speak with a Sony Rep, and their response was that they didn’t have any receivers in their warehouse to send out to me or any other upgraded models to send me for replacement as well. There resolution to the whole matter was to have me send in the receipt to them and they would refund me the purchase price in 4-6 weeks…
