This receiver has been a huge upgrade from my Onkyo that broke down after 5 years. The number of inputs make this a wonderful midrange option for anyone looking for something a little more powerful than the basic receiver. For the price you can't go wrong!

There was a big surprise that this receiver competes with the big boys and gives them a run for the money. If awsome is what you want look no futher. If you want features then there are other that can give you what you want. For sound it hard to beat.

Easy to set-up but has plenty of customization options. Great sounding unit and a mid-tier price. Like the simplified remote and on-screen interface

This receiver was easy to set up, and sounds terrific! It's great for TV, and music, and the dual zone option is great for the outdoor area.

Took a while to figure out how to get Airplay to work. If you have a turntable, you must purchase a phono pre-amp separately. Other than that, it's a decent receiver.

This was the best deal I could find for a receiver with 2 HDMI OUTPUTS. I can output to my projector and another TV. The process to decide which input you want to output on which device could be easier though.

I would recommend this sony product to anyone who likes good quality sound. They Also are good with sound set up but for most part to acheive optimum settings there just a click away. Cons. Only reAson I took a star is the setup of this receiver while plugging jn all these cables for speaker wire on a 7.2 system they should have spaced the red black terminals a little further apart. You gotta have tiny fingers in order to get your hands in there to plug in speaker wire to back.

Very nice stereo. Sound is what makes it great, I have paired with The Sony core series bookshelf speakers. Features are just ok. So far I have only used pandora as I have no Sony music unlimited account. Spotify is not really an app, it just mirrors what your phone is playing. AirPlay is great and easy to use, and makes streaming through iphone seamless. Sony's app (songpal) is also helpful as it works as a remote for the stereo. I have TV, PS4, Apple TV and roku currently connected.

this is a good receiver. i had sony before and i replaced an aged receiver. this new modern one is up to date and sony is my trusted brand

Have Sony blu ray and tv. All works together fairly well. Sometime have to turn off after turning on to reset for blu ray.

We got this receiver because our big screen tv is to old to hook up HDMI so we use the receiver to hook everything into and then go composite to the tv and it works great.

Great sound with this Ultra 4k and 3D Sony receiver with built in Wi-Fi! Plenty of inputs!

Bought this with a set a Klipsch speakers which sound glorious. The on tv interface is easy to use and the auto calibration works great. Would highly recommend.

great reciever for the money. The setup was simple nothing hard to try and figure out. The tuner and extra features they threw in was nice. My only complaint is while watching tv you would hear an echo from the way the tv studio recorded the dialogue. In order to not get the echo go to two speaker format and it will fix the problem. Once you figure out this trick everything else is great!

I picked up this receiver to complete my 3D UHDTV configuration and am VERY happy I got this particular receiver! It works flawlessly with my Sony X850B TV.

An excellent to raise the standards of the home theater system. Has enough HDMI ports to connect almost all of your devices. Sony receiver is worth every penny

Very User friendly, great sound and was a breeze to set up. Plus 4K Compatibility!

This is the first AV receiver I've owned. It has plenty of HDMI ports for my components and enough power and channels for my speakers. The AirPlay function is a bit choppy but that could be do to my wifi and band width. The menu screen and settings are user friendly. I've had it about a month and so far it is working great. It has a good number of features for the price.

This is a really great receiver. Though I bought it predominatly for music, it is great for movies too! It produces a nice stereo image for music and when you feed it multi-channel audio, it's even better. The LFE channel produces nice tight bass great for music. And it also plays high resolution FLAC files and DSD files. If sourced correctly the quality will amaze you.

Never knew what I was missing until I bought this. Wanted receiver that would include everything I watch, especially Netflix. Fantastic product!
